Ye and Dre are my 2 favorite producers. Dre's ear/eye for talent is impeccable....as well as his track record as a producer, but it has always been widely stated that he wasn't the mastermind behind actually creating all of those classic beats. That's not to say that he can't create dope shit on his own, but it isn't far fetched to believe he had ghost producers too. I remember reading an old old old ass article w/ Scott Storch before anybody even knew who dude was. He stated that he was producing for Dre behind the scenes. I also heard the same thing from Hi-Tek. Others who allegedly ghost produced for Dre are Daz, DJ Quik & Mellman......maybe others too. I don't believe Dre is out here Quincy Jones'ing or Diddy'ing, but let's not act like it is impossible that he was slapping his name on beats that were actually produced by others.

Anyway....I prefer Ye's production over Dre's. It's just more soulful to me. #preference

pretty much any idiot can piece a couple of bars of music together ... even by ear with no real musical experience or talent ....

but it takes experience talent and a good ear ... to take that beat these beat makers make ... and take it to another level .... basically RED MARKING YOUR WORK (think what teachers do to your homework) and THEN CORRECT YO SHIT ... like nah he used the wrong hihat ... try this ... no the base is too loud bring it down a bit .... hold up we need a clap here ... and the kick would sound so much better we just moved it back a bit .....

trust me you dont get to these levels without perfecting the beat making process yourself ... thats why he can sit back and let guys like Hi Tek and Storch come up with melodies baselines etc.... and he'll take that and actually make it sound like something ... bridge the vocals and hooks and arrange it etc......

Dre wasn't cutting checks for Death Row...Suge was..So of course Dre wasn't gone get slapped with the lawsuit when the ends didn't meet and Daz didn't get his bread..I bet you if Daz would've got all his money and those Contracts weren't breached he would've kept his mouth closed like everybody else (even though Warren G said it without actually saying it)....Because it's part of the contract..but if he didn't get his money..all commitments are off,he didn't have to be discreet about it,and he could sue.which is exactly what he did..You on that "Man that's Dr.Dre..I'm not gone believe that no matter what" type shit.you blinded by The legendary status.at what point do you use your common sense?lol..
