I saw a homeless woman asking for money with a picture of her kid on her cardboard sign. I was even less inclined to help her when I saw that. I feel sorry for the child, but there's no reason to have kids if you can't take care of them and then try to play the guilt and sympathy card.

Money =/= Happiness but are people really acting like you dont need money to raise a child? If you cannot provide your child with adequate food, clothes, shelter, parenting time and access to a good education, then you shouldnt be having kids. Too many children don't even see their parents because they have to work 3 jobs to pay bills. Or don't give a shit about their grades and education because they are never there. I don't think it's necessarily about a bank account, but the rippling effects that influence other things
