A father a real father won't show his daughter his transgressions. Meaning if the dude did dirt or still doing dirt he will never reveal that to his lil princess. If dude has any parental aptitude he will always show himself in a perfect light for his girls. A female looks for her father to be that one consistent man in her life for a father to drop the ball and showing her the opposite then her slut activities falls on him.
Same thing goes for lil boys and there moms. If the son sees mom bringing a "friend" to their house on a constant basis he going to react accordingly to the same thing and way his mom does.

I feel you, but people talk and I think open discussion to the daughter when she is older and has more understanding can help a bit. That's the way my science teacher told me how her father was a manwhore and yet when her siblings were old enough he broke it down and why they shouldn't go that route. @cain1 Nah, lying about your naughty-by-nature past isn't the best thing imo. Placing a veneer over your past in order to front a "perfect" father to the child is no good. Suppose she finds out --"well, you don't allow her to find out"--but suppose she does? You won't look too perfect then.
Everyone wants to protect their offspring, but I wouldn't do it at the cost of lying to them on such a grand scale...as to who you used to be and such.

Fact: double standards exist.
Fact: some are set up against women while others set up against men.
Instead of pretending like they don't exist, accept that they do and bring the same awareness to those you love.
One cannot change these social stigmas however they can change their attitude and quit complaining that these things are set in place and have been far before our time.
The logic behind it is as follows: Woman is the receiver, she is more susceptible to disease and as the carrier of the egg which uses man's seed to become fertilized she should only bear the fruit which she is ready to receive.
I personally view men and women in no different light when it comes to sexuality and the expression of it. A man who is promiscuous is no different than a woman who carries herself in the same manner.
However, I am well aware of the existing double standard and have absolutely no issue with it. Usually, more often times than not, it is those females who wish to, as society refers to it, "act like men" that are enraged by it, they simply do not want to be labeled as a "hoe" for something guys do yet receive props for. They want equal rights but that's simply not how our society works.
Accept it and continue to live the life you choose, regardless of what others think but do not act brand new each time this topic arises. To make matters even more ironic, many pick and choose the double standards that are ok and suitable for them. The hypocrisy within that alone is humorous.
Yes, you as a promiscuous female will be judged, deal with it. Why are you doing something you are ashamed of in the first place? Either be firm in your beliefs and your movements or step back and evaluate why you have such a problem with something that is just the way of the world. Instead of crying rivers over the unfairness behind it, change your ways, change your perception and pass this awareness onto your offspring so that they don't learn the hard way.
Put them onto "game" so they can choose the path they want to take. Be honest and make them conscious of self, life and people. Otherwise lying to them will send them out into the cold world with a skewed perception and it will be that much harder for them to find their way.
Once our youths are out there, we cannot control what they think and do but we can certainly start them off on the right foot by teaching them what we had to learn through life experiences on our own terms.
