I dont think any of the individual punishments were too bad, each had its merit because each teaches a different lesson (Pain, hard work, humiliation... different types of people are motivated by different punishments...) but the combination of em plus the tone his father had is what put it over board for me. Yea he needed to say it with his chest and put his foot down, but you gotta balance that out and put some love in the discipline at the same time. other wise the child can develope attachment development issues with parents. That lil line about playin video games aint shit either, its like the nigga that beats the chick, but reminds her he buys her jewelry and clothes, its just mind games. If he constantly disciplines him like that over every behavioral issue with the boy, that child will most definitely have issues.
