Going to Greece next month. Work as usual but gave up on keeping my wife away from France and Spain. I am going to go ahead and let her do it. It is her birthday. So question.

we are going to hit Paris but should we hit Madrid or Barcelona? We are going in the beginning of October.

I have the guaranteed hit.

I took my wife to the Jules Verne restaurant in the Eiffel tower. you will be the man....but expect to spend like $500-$800....or you can get a sample price fixe menu to pay a little less.

presidents and heads of state eat there....you will make her feel very special.

but what does she like?

I'm always in Paris....know the city like the back of my hand.

She likes shows and really just hitting all the usual sites. She wont do the Jules Verne. She cheap as hell and I would not hear the last of that for years. Still getting slack about ordering a $100 steak 4 years ago.

Paris will only be 3 days so we will hit the normal fare. Moulin Rouge, Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, The arc and Notre Dame. Night time cruise on the Seine. Typical tourist stuff.

@2stepz_ahead I will hit you up though for some ideas on transportation and where to stay.

nooo..moulin rogue is a tourist spot. go to the crazy horse. the show is better.

a dinner cruise on the river is nice....

the Louvre will take all day.

but it's a spot where she can make her own perfume. I will look for the name.

also staying in the 4 or 5th district.is cool....the subway is right there and takes you along the main attractions. an norte dame is your wake up view depending on hotel. and it's clubs close too.

don't forget to add in sacre cloure.....just dint go for the string scam....lol

you see a nigga with string...avoid them...lol

segway tour with big tire tours....I love segways...I have no idea what they talking on the tour cuz I'm too busy jumping curbs, zigzagging, an spinning in circles.

We stayed in the Latin Quarter in Paris via Air BnB

Very close to at least half of the things you want to see

They have walking tours to the museums and around Notre Dame.... most free or small fee for the app you can take tours that way. Rick Steves and Viatar have them The Lourve is HUGE. It took us almost all day and we did not see it all. Orsay is nice and close too the Lourve. They have an Art and Fashion museum that is amazing. I saw the Barbie exhibit there lol. You cant even imagine how much and many Barbie things are out there lll

Lots of places to shop in the Latin Quarter . Cute markets....food, flowers, and handmade items . We found this bar that served the best crepes. All had a shot of liquor with them. I'll get the name of it for you

We did Moulin Rouge and I loved it.

They have great public transportation. Subway gets you everywhere but it does close down kinda early. Like midnight some places. So we Ubered too.

I also did the touristy hop on hop off bus. It takes you around to see all the major things. And you can get on and off all day long. Helps see more I a day. If you go to the Arc take a bottle of water. It's like 1000 steps to the top lol. But worth the view

We skipped going to the top of the Eiffel Tower and bought a bottle of champagne on the hill and watched the tourists get their money taken by gypsies with the what cup is the ball under. It's a total hustle so don't even think you'll win but funny to watch. They have "plants" in each group who win but when an actual tourists plays they always lose lol

Enjoy your holiday !!!

Oh one more thing. Buy a pad lock and put your initials on it. Do some romantic ish and add it to the collection. You can't add any to the original bridge. Too many are ruining the structure but you can place it other places along the river

Very loving and sweet IMO. The make your own perfume place sounds nice too

So google the perfume spot and adding it to the list. I am getting my plan together right now. Looking at youtube videos about the Paris Metro.

Good looking out.

the lock idea is good

just buy the right lock. one with a key.

you lock it in the bridge an throw the key in the water.

romantic right?

but not for a dumb ass.

here I'm trynna be the shit....i bought a combination lock.

didn't go over well

at all

They also have these little green souvenir spots along the Seine river I was told they are each family owned and ran by retired citizens ...passed down thru generations.

Not 100% sure if that's right but they have cute stuff some have better than others

There are souvenir spots everywhere. So you'll find some nice stuff to take home.

Oh and find a sorbet shop. The ones we saw made flowers out of the sorbet
