I'm here in London now. It's funny out here. I love it though. Brits are interesting folk. Everybody seems to smoke. I don't know why I am so cognizant of smoking here, but it just seems like everybody is smoking. It's strange.

But you'll love it here @Stew. I don't do the partying, pubbing, or the clubbing but I still have a good time when I am in town. My good time is preaching the gospel and talking to folks one on one. I had a hour long conversation with a Neuroscientist atheist girl today and I could have swore she talked like she posted on the IC. It was dope though.

The tube doesn't run all night. I think maybe on Saturdays it runs for a long time depending on where you are at in London.

here goes the link:
https://tfl.gov.uk/travel-information/timetables/

You really don't need the tube though if you are just going to be in Central London and the weather is nice. Only time I use the tube/train is to get to and from the airport. Most of the action will be around Central London if this is your first time here.

Central London is where Buckingham palace is at, London Eye, Bond street, Oxford circus, Piccadilly circus, Trafalgar square. It's all in walking distance as well. But since you are coming in October the weather might not be so good, IDK.

It's about 60 now with some wind. But I was still rocking with a TShirt and I'm from California. If you not big on the sight seeing tour, just do the hop-on and hop-off tour bus which will take you by all the major sites in a few hours and then you can say you've seen London.

I got a few more days here and then off to Israel and South Africa, Hallelujah!

Lots of colts fans here in London. The NFL has a game here this weekend. I haven't seen any jaguar jerseys though. God bless everyone. Amen.

I don't think the tube runs 24/7

Or that may be the metro in Paris

I forget lol I know one night we had to take an uber home

And people drive like crazy in London ... Doesn't help that they are on the opposite side of he road that we are used to lol

I found that people were extremely nice to us and loved to hear about Texas

I taught many Euopeans Hook em Horns lol

I think Paris metro stops at like 1:30am.

I got stuck out there once cuz the rer stopped running an I didn't know. had to catch a damn cab

So actually it was in Paris and London

We went to see a Moulin Rouge in Paris and when it was over the metro was down so we Ubered back to our place

And in London after seeing Kinky Boots and kicking it in Chinatown we Ubered home too

I really wish we had a subway system here. I'd never drive lol

Oh and @DoUwant2go2Heaven is right EVERYONE smoke cigarettes no matter where they are. Like chain smoke too

It was gross to me. I can't stand cigarette smoke

In Austin we have no smoking laws for all restaurants and bars and I love it

For some reason weed smoke doesn't bother me at all though......

Lol

Yup, welcome to Europe

One of the worst places was Amsterdam, which is kind of a no-brainer

But, that shit was gross

Like you could legit look on the ground and you see nothing but cigarette buds in between the cracks of pavement

I was thinking, damn I know smoking loud is legal and all, but at least clean some of the other cigarettes up

I always wonder why is it that when ppl start traveling internationally

Why is London and Paris, always the first places to go to?

I personally believe the media, has a lot to do with it

I understand that they are two of the biggest cities, internationally in the world, but there's more out there than those two

Cause so many people, you ask them where you want to go to?

They like London or Paris

Especially, girls, cause I guess there is this type of romantic vibe with Paris that a lot of girls feel

which, I personally thought Paris was kind of dirty

But, overall if you traveling for the first time

Look at other places like Shanghai, Greece, Czech Republic (Prague), Tokyo

Places where a lot of ppl wouldn't really hit first

Bruh, when you hit Heathrow airport or wherever

and you start hearing different accents from all over the world and you're in a foreign land

You're reality will be transformed

It's one thing to talk about traveling

But, once you actually touchdown, things get that much real

Trust me

@BigBallsNoWorries

Both were 2 places I always wanted to visit

I agree with you Paris was dirty ...it reminded me of when we went to Hollywood. I thought it was gonna be all glamorous but it really wasn't Lol.

Paris was still beautiful. It was amazing to see in person

Between the two I prefered London though ... The overall vibe was more my speed

Yeah, it's definitely something to witness for yourself

But, the way ppl talk about Paris, you would think they talking like it's Disney Land or something

Like it's nice, BUT, Paris is just on the surface compared to what else is out there

How many countries are you at rn @MsSouthern

Oh and only reason Im going to London is cause of the Redskins playin there, kill 2 birds. I definitely wouldve picked somewhere else over London If I was going to just to go on vaca.

I think first time international is intimidating.

you feel more comfortable in London because u understand the language an can communicate.

paris, the romantic side...yea I agree.

I like Tokyo over Shanghai.

I think they about to close or move the tsukiji fish market. that's the first time I ever saw a tuna. shit was massive.

The show was great. Loved the whole experience. We had VIP tickets which came with a bag of nice goodies, bottle of champagne, and macaroons

I thought it was funny how they perceive Americans in the show. Like the music choices and costumes . There was a lady who swam with all these snakes .., which was wild . And this couple that did a cool routine on skates Every single preformer was beautiful

And yes I snapped a few pics of the theater but once the show started they were not playing lol
