Just watched the Spanish broadcast which is about an hour delay and them dudes were going bat shit crazy. They thought Marquez was robbed but that's coming from a Mexican bias. I don't know, I just didn't feel that you can give Marquez a win. He had some great shots but just didn't throw enough and once again didn't show the judges that he clearly deserved the win. Which he should of known going into this fight he had to do when facing a guy like Pacquiao who judges seem to favor when it comes into making decisions.

I agree, a draw would be the correct ruling in my opinion.

The whole "controlled the ring" argument is kinda bunk. That should really only come into play if all things are considered equal, and in this case, they aren't. Marquez clearly got more quality hits in the fight. So what if Manny was more aggressive. That's his style. Marquez is more of a counter puncher so he relies and drawing the opponent in and countering. He play his game a lot better than Manny played his. If you're saying Manny should have gotten the win because he pushed forward more, then you're basically just saying he should get the win because he has a more aggressive style. That kinda works in MMA, but not so much in boxing because boxing has a greater variety of styles by design.

This is fucking retarded. Just finished watching the fight, and Marquez is clearly not a student of history. He lost the same way Oscar did against Trinidad. He beat ass and then coasted into the fucking finish line like a dumb-ass.

Nacho is too old to see the fights correctly because even though Marquez was winning in spots, it wasn't visually impressive enough when you factor in aggression and generalship. Nacho's advice and Marquez's decision to stop going HAM lost him the fight.
