At this point in time, Pac is a superstar, probably the most popular in the sport. You have to show more than just barely edging him out to win a 12 round decision. He needed a knockdown or needed to throw more punches to show the judges he is CLEARLY better. They'll give Pac the benefit of the doubt every time at this point in his career. 7 years ago, it wasn't like that and Juan Ma clearly got robbed back then.
This further proves why I dont engage in boxing talk with casual fans who havent a clue what they are talking about :tdRumBoxTen;3701908 said:If Marquez wanted to win he had to be the aggressor throughout but he wasn't.

For a judge to actually give a 116-112 score was complete and utter fuckery. Even tho Marquez clearly won, being a realist to the bullshit, I wouldnt have minded a draw.

pac thought he could do a practice run without the supplements and it backfired only for the judges to hold him down .....
pure fuckery !!!!
RumBoxTen;3701908 said:Basically. It was a close fight. Very debatale but Pacman was the winner. If Marquez wanted to win he had to be the aggressor throughout but he wasn't. It wasn't a decisive win for either fight so judges had to give it to Pacman off of GP.
This should put to rest the naysayers who say Maywheater fights niggas thats not in their prime. Marquez obviously has a lot of fight left in him and could have gotten that decision yet cause Maywheater thrashed him "he's automatically out of his prime". If he was outta of his prime he sure as hell got up in Pacman's ass for someone who's suppose to be washed up.

Maybe i lost because i paid for the fight. Then again, maybe i won because i can afford it. Either way, stay mad.

If Mayweather fights someone 30+ and thrashes them, they're suddenly considered "old and out of their prime".
If Mayweather fights someone younger and thrashes them, they're "not experienced enough".
Same bullshit.......
