For all it takes to raise a kid, if a person doesn't want that responsibility they really shouldn't have it forced on them. Let that irresponsible person continue to be irresponsible. Nobody can be forced to grow up and mature, it's a choice and a child shouldn't have to suffer while someone is still in the process of making that choice or has already made the choice to continue to be selfish and live irresponsibly in terms of being responsible for the care of another life (their child).

but maybe thats the problem. some people dont want to grow up. it should be a few people here and there....but this shit is rampant. too many people see the fun in not being a parent and dont understand the long term effects of what they are doing.

If somebody told me they don't want kids because they'd rather spend their money tricking at the club I say good, that's the type of person that doesn't need to be responsible for another human life. Why would you want somebody with that mentality responsible for raising a person in this world? Clearly their priorities and values are fucked up and those will just get passed along to their kids most likely creating another ain't shit person in the world. Sometimes being selfish can be a good thing, and in the instance of raising a kid if someone is too selfish to care about anyone other than themselves, they're better off not having a kid and being honest with themselves and everyone else about that being the reason.

I'm a live and let live type of person. So long as what you doing don't intrude on me or society at large I have no problem with it. I think a person who doesn't want or isn't in a position to raise a child properly but still keeps having them is more of a harm to society than somebody who is the old nigga/chick in the club.

I think the economy has a big part to play. It wouldnt just be dippin into my money, it would be requiring money i dont have. But I never really wanted kids even when i was a kid. You can have family w/o being married and having kids. Siblings, cousins, extended family, close friends. Those are all people you can depend on in life and get a very strong support system from.

Kids cause too much stress & I'm too selfish. The only reason I'll ever have kids is if I get rich enough to where money is no problem or fall hard enough for a woman that she'll change my mind.
