The multi-month saga of will or won't Matt and Jeff Hardy reprise their "Broken Hardys" personas in the WWE has generated lots of interest from wrestling fans, especially after the Hardys parted ways with Impact Wrestling, now Global Force Wrestling. GFW, allegedly even started sending out cease and desist letters trying to prevent Matt and Jeff from using the gimmick. Both sides have been fighting over the rights to the gimmick for months, but so far little to no progress has been made.

Earlier this week on Raw, Michael Cole noted that something had “awoken” in The Hardys.

In a Raw Fallout interview Matt Hardy commented that he felt “woken” and said, “there’s an awakening that’s happening inside my brother, and myself.”

Now Matt Hardy went to Twitter to tease that the “AWAKENING of ENLIGHTENMENT” has begun and he’s telling fans to "get woke."

As noted, WWE Raw star Bayley suffered a shoulder injury during her match against Nia Jax on Raw this week, putting her SummerSlam title match against Alexa Bliss in jeopardy.

According to The Dirty Sheets podcast, in association with Sportskeeda, sources in WWE are 90% sure at this time that Bayley will not be able to compete at SummerSlam. The final announcement on the Bayley injury and her PPV status should come soon.

The report, which you can watch below, adds that should Bayley not be able to compete at WWE SummerSlam, a number one contenders match will take place on Monday Night Raw next week featuring Sasha Banks vs Nia Jax. Should that match indeed take place, Banks is expected to win and go on to face Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam:

This could indeed set Sasha up for a turn by using the thought of Bayley being jealous that she had to bow out of summerslam. Typical E shit but it's right there.
