Shoulda pushed em dead off, wipe the sweat off

Uhh, cause in this world I'm debtor, squeeze lead off

Benz sped off, ain't no shook hands in Brook-land

Army fatigue bring fatigue to enemies

Look man, you wanna see me locked up, shot up

Moms crotched up over the casket, screamin BASTARD

Cryin, know my friends is lyin

Y'all know who killed im filled im with the lugars from they Rugers

or they Desert, dyin ain't the shit but it's present

Kinda quiet, watch my niggaz bring the riot

Giving cats the opposite of diets

You gain thirty pounds when you die no lie, lazy eye

I was high when they hit me, took a few cats with me

Shit, I need the company (uh-huh)

Apoligies in order, to T'Yanna my daughter

If it was up to me you would be with me, sorta like

Daddy Dearest, my vision be the clearest

Silencers so you can't hear it

Competition still fear it, shit don't ask me

I went from ashy to nasty to classy, and still

>>>>>>>>>RTD.

That pretty much sums it up right there. Still, RTD could be arguably better than LAD depending on what sound your being nostalgic for that day. RTD was raw and gritty, where as LAD was smooth, still raw, but ya'll know the difference I'm tryna point out. IMO I'd go with LAD anyday, but it's just to many songs, fortunately in the world of Itunes and playlists, we can easily fix that situation.

Biggie's verses on "The What" and "Warning" are better than most songs on LAD but LAD is still a classic with some bangers

Lol at Miss U being a skipable track.

Thats one of the best tracks on the album, and one of the best songs in Biggie catalogue.

Ready To Die = Top 5 Rap Album Ever (Even haters can't put below Top 10)
Life After Death = Top 20 Rap Album Ever

The reason I think Big is probably the GOAT Is he is the only rapper to drop 2 Top 20 Rap Albums Ever. He has one of the greatest debuts ever and agrueable the greatest double disc ever. The Reason "RTD" is better is not just cause it's more cohesive but it's signifance in bringing the East back can't be overlooked. What Big did with these two albums was drop a debut that can compete with any album from the Goldern era, then "LAD" is an album that can compete with anything in the new school era. He dropped 2 Classics for 2 Eras. But let's look at the Classic Songs from Each album

RTD Classic Songs

Things Dun Changed
Gimmie The Loot
Machine Gun Funk
Warning
Ready To Die
The What
Juicy
Big Poppa
Everyday Struggle
Me and My Bitch
Unbelieveable
Suicidal Thoughts

12 out of 15 (17 overall tracks) (DAMN, 1 Intro, 1 Interlude = 80%)

Life After Death Classic Songs

Somebody's Got To Die
Hypnotize
Kick in the Door
I Love The Dough
What's Beef
Mo Money, Mo Problems
Niggas Bleed
I Got A Story To Tell
Notorious Thugs
Going Back To Cali
10 Crack Commandments
Sky's The Limit
My Downfall
Long Kiss Goodnight
Your Nobody Till Somebody Kills You

15 out of 22 (24 overall tracks) (2 of those tracks are Intro, Interlude = 68%)

On "RTD" we got raw/uncut Biggie. If you are a fan of Ol School Hip Hop, "RTD" is definitely for you cause Biggie again dropped a Classic that could compete with the Golden Era. "LAD" sounds like it was made yesterday so that's why it can compete with albums being dropped today. I go back and forth on which one I love more. Biggie was definitely better lyrically and the production was better on LAD, he was almost a more sharper storyteller. It had more skips cause it was longer but Big still killed it. But on "RTD" he was hungry and it had so much emotion. My nod stills go to "RTD" for it's significance but nobody can hate on "LAD", Big murdered 2 disc on his sophomore album and knocked it out the park.

RTD = RAW/UNCUT
LAD=POLISHED/SMOOTH

LAD is better in every aspect of being an album.
