The only agrument for RTD(as I stated in the OP, and the only one people keep arguing)

But Musically, the better album is LAD

The lyrically thing is a bit more debatable than you making it out to be. I think you sweeping under the rug the fact that he brought a whole coast back to the forfront with Ready to die and it's lyrics. Life after Death you can't really say that about because by then Tupac had already set the standard as far as double CD's is concerned and Big had way more people disliked Badboy and the jiggy movement they was on

I can't tell u which one i like better. I can play RTD from start to finish RIGHT NOW and the ONLY song i can't listen to off LAD is Another. This is why Biggie is my #1. He was a monster lyrically and one of the best storytellers of all time. Mash them to together and you had some of the best music ever created.

what is so special about his stories? they are not descriptive. they are not true. they arent told creatively. cliche fake gambino stories about getting robbed by islanders, having his friend killed but he somehow manages to make it down a flight of stairs of jamaicans, dominicans, hatians shooting military rifles and star wars weapons at him. his story telling abilities were no different than anyone elses in that era. biggie cant fuck with rae or ghost on them stories. ghostface illiteration is off the meter. raekwons detail and quick one liners are light years ahead of that "smoking in a one room" shack fairytales he was spittin. and not even him. big boi was spitting better stories of circumstance than biggie in 94. the whole thug life album is about the struggles of street niggas. i mean after all biggie bit RTD from MATW/TL. his so called shock rhymes about religion were nothing compared to Cube calling out and mocking christianity on leathal injection. lets face it the only thing RTD had going for it was the party joints. HEY NIGGA HEY!!!! Some of my favorite songs off the album, but the problem with AEOM is that majority of that 2nd CD are throwaway tracks. CD1 makes it classic.
