Why does it take an out in the open racist for folks to admit to themselves this country is racist and has been racist?

Can't say all the evidence wasn't there before he took office

That question isn't directed at you in particular

It aint even about the racism though. His wife had to nudge him to put his hand over his heart, He signed hats and tossed the hats up in the air like he couldnt have just handed it back to the kids, He has no interaction with the people with barricades and multiple SS. His whole aura as a human being is despicable and slimy. There's more but the point is this freak show thats called Amerikkka might be headed for its demise

Ain't no might about it.

Thing is though even if you take out the racism what Trump is doing is still nothing new for this country.

Yet so many try to make damn everything he doing like its something new. IMO what Trump is showing is how a high majority of wealthy white people have ALWAYS been and always will be. Whats new is now more people willing to publicly admit what they have been seen. If you haven't seen it, its because you either chose to ignore it or just didn't care.

Marx said it a long time ago "CAPITALISM CONTAINS THE SEEDS OF IT'S OWN DESTRUCTION"

Eric Trump: Dad's Trips To Mar-A-Lago Are 'Very Effective Tool' For Political Bonding

Eric Trump claimed in an interview published Monday that his father’s frequent golfing trips and visits to his Mar-a-Lago estate are “a very effective tool” when it comes to “bonding” with foreign leaders.

“You can sit with somebody in a golf cart where there might be cultural differences and language barriers and have a good time and build a friendship in a way that you could never do sitting across an office table from someone,” Trump told Independent.ie.

He compared President Donald Trump’s private club in Palm Beach, Florida, to President George W. Bush’s ranch in Crawford, Texas.

“Bush brought foreign leaders from all over the world,” Eric Trump said. “They would have fun and they would eat and that was his way of bonding.”

Eric Trump described Mar-a-Lago as “an amazing estate that has been a very effective tool” for his father to “get to know somebody.”

Independent.ie noted that President Donald Trump has played golf 16 times since taking office, though Politifact placed his number of games at 14 as of Monday.

According to the New York Times’ tracker, the President has so far outpaced Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama — whom Donald Trump frequently criticized for teeing off — in the total number of days he has spent at a golf course.

As the Times noted in March, White House staffers have begun refusing to confirm to reporters whether President Trump is even playing golf at all, let alone providing any details about his hypothetical partners.

Devin Nunes Reportedly Felt Pressure from White House to ‘Manufacture Fake Scandal’

As we posted about last week, lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have reportedly found no evidence to support claims that former National Security Advisor Susan Rice acted improperly. This revelation came following a review of the same materials examined by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes.

Now, a new report suggests that Nunes may have been feeling pressure from the White House to justify President Donald Trump‘s March 4 tweet that he had his “wires tapped” at Trump Tower.

According to a report from The New Yorker‘s Ryan Lizza, an unnamed intelligence source believes Nunes may have felt some heat from the White House to “manufacture a fake scandal.”

From the report:

The intelligence source told me that he knows, “from talking to people in the intelligence community,” that “the White House said, ‘We are going to mobilize to find something to justify the President’s tweet that he was being surveilled.’ They put out an all-points bulletin”—a call to sift through intelligence reports—“and said, ‘We need to find something that justifies the President’s crazy tweet about surveillance at Trump Tower.’ And I’m telling you there is no way you get that from those transcripts, which are about as plain vanilla as can be.”

Nunes recused himself from the Intelligence Committee’s investigation into Russian manipulation in the 2016 election, and is currently the subject of a House Ethics Committee probe into whether he leaked classified information.

But according to Lizza, “this is like getting Al Capone for tax evasion. The bigger scandal is the coordinated effort to use the American intelligence services to manufacture an excuse for Trump’s original tweet.”

it's an interesting point... but considering the country is built on a personality cult themed around "resisting the US" ... how could the US NOT low-key provoke these dudes?

Reports: Giuliani Flipped On Trump & Is Cooperating With Russia Investigation

Last week we brought you the story of how Rudy Giuliani is in so much legal trouble that he’s been trying to get a deal in exchange for flipping on Donald Trump, but that the FBI rejected it because its Trump-Russia investigation is so far along that it doesn’t need his help (link). But now equally proven intel sources say that Giuliani has cut a deal after all, and is cooperating with law enforcement against Trump.

This latest information comes from Olga NYC, an online political pundit whose sources have a track record of being proven correct. She states that “A very reliable source has told me that R Giuliani is cooperating” (link). Scott Dworkin of the Democratic Coalition Against Trump, who has a strong track record in his own right, then chimed in to point out that Olga has been “100% reliable” with her inside sources (link). So where does this leave us?

There are two possible scenarios at play here. One is that, after the FBI initially rebuffed Rudy Giuliani, it’s now circled back and given him a deal after all. This tactic is sometimes used to try motivate a suspect to be more cooperative once they’re finally given the deal they’re asking for. The other possible scenario is that after the FBI rejected Giuliani’s request for a deal, the New York State Attorney General may have instead given him a deal. The source hasn’t stated whether Giuliani’s deal was with state or federal law enforcement.

The second scenario is given credibility by the fact that Rudy Giuliani’s most well-documented legal troubles stem from his attempt at interfering with a case that the New York State Attorney General’s office is bringing against a Turkish businessman named Reza Zarrab (source: NBC News). So it makes sense that he would be seeking leniency from the State of New York, and willing to give up Trump in the process. This serves to further demonstrate how far along both the state and federal Trump-Russia investigations are progressing behind the scenes. Contribute to Palmer Report

Kelly to Homeland Security critics: Change the law or 'shut up'

Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly offered a sharp rebuttal to critics of his department on Tuesday, challenging lawmakers who dislike its approach to immigration enforcement to change the law or “shut up.”

Employees at the Department of Homeland Security, he told an audience at George Washington University, “are often ridiculed and insulted by public officials and frequently convicted in the court of public opinion on unfounded allegations testified to by street lawyers and street spokespersons.”

“If lawmakers do not like the laws that we enforce, that we are charged to enforce, that we are sworn to enforce, then they should have the courage and the skill to change those laws,” Kelly said. “Otherwise, they should shut up and support the men and women on the front lines.”

Kelly’s remarks at the event, which included a question-and-answer period, laid out a bleak worldview similar to what President Donald Trump has articulated. The country is continuously “under attack” by drug smugglers, terrorists and other criminals who hate America and try to cross its borders, Kelly said, arguing that law enforcement officials do not always get the respect they deserve for protecting Americans.

But, he asserted, that is changing.

“It stopped with President Trump and it stopped with me,” Kelly said. “My people, the men and women of this department, do a difficult and, at times, nearly impossible job and a service to the American people. They deserve our nation's thanks and respect. They deserve to be proud of the jobs that they do. We are moving in exactly the right direction. Why? Because the best way to improve morale is to let employees do the jobs they were hired and trained to do and recognize them for doing those jobs.”

“We will never apologize for enforcing and upholding the laws of this country,” he continued. “We will never apologize for carrying out our mission. We will never apologize for making our country more secure. We ask nothing more than respect and support.”

Trump’s staunch opposition to undocumented immigration is among his longest-held and more controversial positions — one that critics charge borders on inhumane. But Kelly defended the administration and touted its progress, saying a recent drop in illegal border crossings was “phenomenal.”

“Fewer people ... crossing the border illegally means fewer deaths in the desert, fewer people, as I say, submitting themselves to that terrible, terrible network experience,” Kelly said. “There is nothing more — and I know I speak for the attorney general — nothing more that we would like to do than put these human smugglers out of business, and we’ll do anything, our departments, to do just that within the law.”

The drop in undocumented immigration "is really remarkable,” he reiterated. “These numbers are lower because we’ve shown that we are serious about border security and enforcing our immigration laws.”

Again addressing his department’s critics, Kelly also flatly denied that agents engage in any kind of racial profiling at airports, despite reports to the contrary.

“When you hear a report of a family, an individual, whatever, at an airport being put into secondary screening or being refused entry into the United States, believe me, it’s not because of their skin color, it’s not because of the part of the world they come from, it’s not because of their religion,” Kelly said. “It may have been something they said, their story didn’t work out, it may have been something on their cell phone that brought the attention. But there is always, always, always more to the story.”
