Thanks to this thread I just binged watch this all day yesterday. I like the pace of the show and how the consequences are shown for every decision that's made.

Dope series to hold you over till Money and Violence comes back. Based in brooklyn and focus around a dude named Mello who like Miz type character.

Check it out, good camera work, acting is surprisingly good and storyline is solid.

i now feel melo is like miz and rafe hybrid character.

I'm just now discovering this thread, thanks to the guy who directed me to it.

Anyway, did I miss it or did they show Dre snitching in the first season? Dre and Melanie breaking up was random to me, unless it happened in the first season. Her being pregnant was very predictable too.

One thing I'd noticed is how Melo has so much responsibility. Seems like he puts himself in the position to deal with a lot of ciaos. Billy killing that PR dude for coming at him sideways was justifiable, no shade. Melo just had to intervene, lol.

The scene with the transwoman was pointless unless it's intertwined with the plot. I remember the gay dude being a snake, so I guess that's where their going for this season. I hope they give them a better character development right along with the plot.

Overall, I like this show and it's something to watch when I'm in the crib not doing anything.
