Pain is joy when it cries

It's my smile in disguise

It's what makes the story chilling

Spare the women and the children

Hear the scribbles of the villain (yeahuh)

This is drug dealer brilliance *siren*

Pyrex on the platter like hot sex

But my tribe don't quest like love

Pain in this bitch, with a mask and a glove

And a team of lawyers to run the train on the judge

It's no risk without gain

It's no trust without shame

It's no us without 'Cain

Push, my name is my name

In the kitchen with a cape on, apron

Tre-eight on, coulda been Trayvon

But instead I chose Avon

Powder face like a geisha

Arm & Hammer for the breakup

Turn one into two, watch the brick kiss and makeup

It's a match made in heaven

All that's missing is the reverend

All that's missing is a blessing

I hope God gets the message

Dope

Listened to it in the whip today.. Ima give it a real solid 8/10

Good Job Pusha

I liked sweet serenade though. I thought it was gonna be some soft shit. That kelly rowland song is a automatic skip

i really fuck w this album...even that mase shit not getting on my nerves now... he got some real great songs on this and the others are solid too... i agree on 8/10...the features were on point for the most part

oh and on that note fuck big sean for trying his hardest to ruin this album...little faggot

It would have helped him if he had better delivery, above average lyrics, but not legendary...the album is good, being overrated tho, just because he a rapper that isn't as 'soft' as the ones who are dominating the industry right now, so I understand why some are overhyping it, not really impressed as it also has a lot of features, which in turn kind of suffocates his potential, imo...I fucks with King push, sweet serenade, hold on is ight, 40 acres(questionable track), the 'ma$e' track, nostalgia, pain and snitch...don't fuck with the rest, he killed no regrets but I don't fuck with it overall....Good album, but doesn't warrant all this hype by the hip hop community, although I understand the need for the hype amidst the current landscape of the genre.

That Kelly Rowland join "Let Me Love You" is that Goddamn knock!!! Push killing that Mase flow!!!

Sweet Serenade is my shit though!!! Man he got three or four joints on repeat in the whip!!!!

Dope album!!!!

Nigga you named 95 % of the album.

It's interesting that Pusha's album wasn't expected to have any response or reference to Kendrick's Control verse though even though his name was mentioned as well nor has he been criticized for not having one

The album was fire! It could have done without all the rap features though. Them dudes didn't add anything to the tracks.

Crazy dope production, very good lyrics/concepts (per song), the album also flowed very well.

This was hands down the hip-hop album of the year.
