Okay, I just finished season 2 and just started watching this show and I like it a lot but the big thing that I can't get over is the fact that Ghost is lusting after his high school sweet heart when he had a better looking, thicker and super loyal chick at home from the start.

Angela is cute but Tasha is way better to me. The show is good and 50 Cent does a good job playing a sociopath

Outside of illpix it aint based on looks man

First few episodes of s1 planted that seed that Tasha represents the woman attracted to and down for that kingpin lifestyle, she dont even want him leaving the game. Whereas he like Angela bc in his mind she represents the new clean life

The bolded is encapsulated in the first scenes of Season 3 Episode 1. Go watch Season 1 Episode 1 and it's a near identical shot to the scenes with Ghost going up to the club "Truth" for the first time.

The difference is everything is the same but different.

Instead of Tasha on his arm, he now has Angie

Instead of it being a club called Truth he's walking into (which he was laundering drug money), it's "SJP" in the same location

Instead of Ghost being referred to (which the last episode of last season was entitled as "Ghost Is Dead"), it's "Call Me James" (which is the name of the first episode of this season)

Ghost is just trying rebrand himself, his lifestyle and have his "New Year New Me Moment" but can barely last an episode before it's back to the same ol' bullshit
