at least with spiderman with marvel they can finally have a quip galore with his movie lol. cuz that will fit his character

Ant Man and Spidey are suppying most of the funny parts in the movie.

That really should have been expected given the nature of those chatacters.

I know I'm probably in the minority, but I would have much rather Marvel get back Galactus and Silver Surfer than Spiderman. They would have been more important in the coming movies.

I want Silver Surfer cause I want a movie about the actual Defenders and not this Marvel Knight being called The Defenders stuff Netflix is planning.

We already got 2 of the big 3 Defenders in the movies (Hulk and Dr. Strange). With Marvel still working on getting the third one (Namor) under their film umbrella.

Valkyrie won't be a long shot since Thor is a staple of the MCU. All you would need is Surfer and Beast and while Beast would be a long shot he could also be worked around easier than Surfer in terms of the purpose of the role on the team.

Yeah, I just want them to do the Cosmic side right since that's my favorite part of the Marvel Universe. Right now I don't know how they are going to do that since they haven't established any cosmic forces and don't even have access to the most well known ones. I mean does Thanos really need the Infinity Gauntlet to beat the Avengers or Nova Corps?

I still don't get how they managed to get back The Inhumans and Black Panther under a technicality but not the rest of the characters who have spinned off from Fantastic Four. That handicap is definitely limiting the scope of their cosmic ambitions for sure.

I think marvel should work out a deal with fox like they did with sony where fox keeps the license for x men and FF but marvel handles the creative input so we can have both teams in the mcu. if possible.

Fox and Marvel teaming will be so much more monumental than Marvel/Sony imo. Not only cause you get 2 and not just one cream of the crop Marvel IP back in house (FF and X-Men) but also all their related characters that make the Marvel Universe so much richer like Doom and the Sh'iar among others.

How many more movies is Chris Evans contracted for? I think it was 9 originally and he's already been in about 6.

He has Civil War and 1 More in contract. I think he will be dead for the first infinity war film.

I know cameos don't really count so we could ignore that. If that is taken into account is it still only 2 movies left?

His contract is locked in for Infinity 1 and two as they're filming both back to back.

Ah ok so like 4 more appearances including Civil War. Not a bad run.

Oh well as long as they continue course correcting like they did with DoFP and Deadpool I can't even get mad. I do feel this new Fox regime could potentially do the FF justice one day.

John Byrne's run is essential. It's what made me a fan. If you don't mind silver and bronze age comics (60s and 70s) Kirby and Lee's run is also a must as are the stories by Marv Wolfman and Roy Thomas. For the more modern age (2000 till present) Mark Waid was the standard until Jonathan Hickman came through with his FF epic and crushed the buildings.
