Eh they don't really need his body . He could just do voice over with someone else in the Suit.

That would make little sense though

Why? If he gets old. Most of the time the suit is CGI anyway. So they really don't need him . He could still do the voice . And also they do that inside the helmet shot. They really don't physically need to do anything for him to be ironman..

Yeah but since you said somebody else in the suit wouldn't that mean dude could never get out the suit and talk since they would be using RDJ voice?

Them donuts he be eating on 10 hr break shifts be fucking up his head. Earlier this week he almost had a heart attack on the maple glazed ones and started posting spoilers in this thread.

Upcoming marvel film Doctor Strange was accused of whitewashing over Tilda Swinton's casting, and now, the actress is responding to critics.

Swinton, 55, was cast as The Ancient One, a character who was originally Tibetan in the comics. She claims that if there was whitewashing, it happened before she ever saw the script.

"Well, it's not actually an Asian character—that's what I need to tell you about it," she told The Hollywood Reporter Thursday night. "I wasn't asked to play an Asian character, you can be very well assured of that."

She added, "You just have to wait and see, because it's not an Asian character."

Whitewashing Asian characters has been a hot topic in Hollywood lately. A film adaptation of popular anime franchise Ghost In The Shell cast Scarlett Johansson as Japanese character Motoko Kusanagi. To make matters worse, DreamWorks and Paramount Pictures reportedly used CGI to try to make Johansson look "more Asian."

Fresh Off The Boat actress Constance Wu called these measures "especially heinous," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Some people call it 'yellowface,' but I say 'the practice of blackface employed on Asians' because that's more evocative."

Doctor Strange will be out in theaters on Nov. 4.

got nothing against her but why couldnt they just find an asian dude to play the the ancient one? Never heard anyone say theyre going to the theathre to see Swindon lol. Whats the reasoning behind whoever does the casting to change shit up like that?

how do we go from cool Tibetan monk to the bitch from the beach?

Plus I wanna see Reed the God style on Banner and Stark's genius without even trying. As well as Johnny and Spidey's bromance. Also wanna see Cap meeting Johnny for the metatextual 4th wall breaking lulz.

Stick to DC, gayfish

Reed is actually smarter in his field than they are actually.

Reed differs to tony and bruce whenever hes mucking about in their field of study

Its known overall that he is smarter than both of em theyre all genius' including Doom and T'challa.

I wasnt disagreeing with dude about that. He just went left with the bromance stuff.

In general even though i actually ead shit from both compqnies, I hate DC fanboys

Burn in hell the lot of u por favor

you just mad DC has no hindu neeghas in it, Apu.

Probably the Asian stereotype. Comics and cartoons were really racist up until the last 20 years.

That's exactly why they changed it and also they explained that it's been a lot of ancient ones and she is the most recent

Fan Fridays: Does Baron Zemo in Captan America: Civil War Mean the Thunderbolts are MCU Bound?

thunderbolts-zemo-180055.jpg

Captain America: Civil War is right around the bend! With only a few weeks until the Marvel blockbuster hits theaters, earlier still for international folks, the main antagonist of the film has been surprisingly low key. Baron Zemo, a longtime Captain America villain who stood shoulder to shoulder with the likes of the Red Skull during World War 2, will be the top threat for Steve Rogers to face in the movie, outside of Tony Stark and his crew of course. Marvel Studios has already stated that Zemo will be appearing in more movies down the line, but would one of those be related to Marvel’s team of villains masquerading as heroes known as the Thunderbolts? Comicbook.com fan, Zemonaut, believes that Civil War will be the opening salvo on rolling out the possibility of the Thunderbolts entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe proper.

As some background, the Thunderbolts were in fact the team of super villains known as the Masters of Evil. Led by Baron Zemo during an age when both the Avengers and the Fantastic Four were thought dead, the Thunderbolts emerged under the idea of posing as heroes to gain the public’s trust, eventually turning the tables and taking over the world. Daniel Bruhl’s interpretation of Zemo in the upcoming Captain America sequel could point at the opening building blocks for laying the foundation of the Thunderbolts becoming a threat for the future of the Avengers. The Thunderbolts were also involved in the original Civil War in the comics, acting as a team created for the sole purpose of wrangling up heroes who were not registered with the Super Human Registration Act.

Aside from Zemo’s influence on the film, the Thunderbolts joining the MCU would make sense for a couple of reasons. Firstly, they had already been discussed joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe earlier by Guardians of the Galaxy director, James Gunn! It’s true; Gunn had originally pitched the Thunderbolts as an idea for the MCU to try out, along with the GOTG. While Guardians eventually was the idea that was chosen, you have to think that the studio is still percolating on the idea that these villains would translate to a great idea for film. With the upcoming Suicide Squad movie from Warner Bros hitting this summer, the idea of a team of super villains assembling under a common goal is one that audiences will already be familiar with so it should be easier to grease the wheels on bringing the T-Bolts into the limelight.

There have been many interpretations of the Thunderbolts in the past, but nearly all of those interpretations now have members that the folks at Marvel can use with the recent partnership at Sony. Alongside Zemo, T-Bolt members Norman Osborn and Venom can also be thrown into the mix, making for a serious threat for both Spidey and his fellow Marvelites in the future. Following Infinity War, the Marvel Cinematic Universe will be needing a new “Big Bad” and what better threat than a team of super villain parading as heroes?

Im not mad about scarlet playing the lead character in ghost in the shell

I dont even see y theyd use cgi to make her look more "asian"

The fucking coon ass japanese draws most of their characters cracka looking af

If a character is a certain race in the comics then make it that way in the movie, Hollywood stay with the BS. That's like taking Hugh Jackman playing Shaft. Or Tom Cruise in the last Samurai WTF. They should of gave the ancient one role to an Asian actor plain and simple. Next thing u know they gonna make a movie called "Last Nig@a on Earth" word to Paul Mooney Lol.

But you what would be dope is if 10 years from now they make a Spider-Man Film using Miles Morales. We'll see if society progresses by then

Not in GitS. It's pretty clear all the characters in that show are Japanese.

I didn't say they looked Asian. I said it was pretty clear they were Japanese. As in you can't just white wash the characters without substantially changing the story.

They need to scrap it until they figure out this tv/movie shit cause Agents of Shield already set up the Inhumans pretty good already.

That's what I'm thinking is gonna happen. Just gonna make a tv show for them and introduce them before infinity war begins. Hope it ends up as a netflix show

To be honest Agents of Shield is doing with the Inhumans what Fox is doing with X Men.

Apocalypse = Hive

Mystique = Daisy

Xavier = Coulson

X Men = Secret Warriors

I bet that has something to do with it.
