Its going to be influenced by both probably. Influenced being the key word. We may see elements from both stories in the movie, but the movie itself will be a unique story. Much like Civil War.

I believe there are three arcs. Infinity war, Infinity Gauntlet, and i cant remember the other. Could be they use stuff from all three. I do remember there being times when heroes got it. Im not familiar with the pages posted of Iron Man having it, but do recall at least a book cover of Spider Man getting it. Might have been a spin-off or one those "fake" comic covers that had nothing to do with the issue. Not 100% sure, its been decades bruh.

Comicexplained and Comicstorian are good Youtube channels for summaries yall should check out. They're usually short, but give whats needed.
