judging from the reviews, Civil War has already won the dc/marvel war

There's no war between companies only fans. That shit is stupid. Marvel needs DC around so fans won't get bored with their formula like it slowly started with in Avengers 2. Cap 2 was highly regarded because of it's tone and some believe it's the best movie out of all of them. The change in tone and how it was directed from the other movies is why that happened. I'm seeing everything regardless. Only movie I'm on the fence about is Xmen.

To be fair, early tests of the movie make it seem like this movie introduces a pretty radical change in tone and that new tone is what's going to be the standard going forward in the MCU. So I think the people behind the MCU were smart enough to know they weren't going to be able to care that same style forever.

I don't see why people just can't let different things rock. Comics have Marv, DC, Image, Vertigo movies can do the same thing with different characters. Keeps everything fresh though it just seems like BVS is getting nitpicked to death due to Zack at the helm. He isn't the best director ever yet people calling for pitchforks for him like Bay isn't demolishing the transformers franchise the past years.

May can't come here fast enough. Civil War is the movie I've been excited to see since I heard it was coming out.

Deadpool was great, Batman vs Superman was better than I expected and hopefully this Captain America is as great as The Winter Solider was.
