The cover has his name prominently printed, but he's behind Cap and Iron Man? Guess they figured they'd get better sales with better known heroes up front? Nah, we know better than that. At least he made the cover though, that's big.

Because iron man and cap are the focal point of the movie?

so is panther, i read the article, a good chunk of storyline will be devoted to Black Panther

@Bcotton5

Not really up on the cival war arc. Panther and storm wasn't together during this time? I thought wolverine was only fucking with storm during the age of apocalypse arc.

LOL y'all niggas is seeing something I'm not. I just saw the high res photo and it's still looks like they didn't put in as much effort on his shit as the others. Y'all really think that suite/mask that look like a halloween outfit you could have gotten in the 90's from a halloween shop. Looks exactly like that beasty, gangsta ass picture pissedoffnobody posted?

HELL MOTHAFUCKING NAW!!!!!!!!!!! NIGGA SUIT LOOKING LIKE A LATE 90'S POWER RANGER VILLAIN!!!!!!

I'm just saying, they could have did a better job than that. Like cuzzo said, that might not be the final costume. They probably gonna fix it up some more. That was some early ass footage behind the scenes. I hope that aint the actual costume SMH lol.

I think suit looks dope.

I agree with what someone said on the previous page, not going back to look sorry, but the suit doesnt look all that dope in the day time. That scene where he is running ahead of Cap in the parking garage had the suit looking dope though.

The fact his name is on the marquee but all three of them are on the cover... let alone with BP as the central figure... that's a big thing. The fact he's behind them is literally a visual metaphor about which side he's on and who he is standing behind in the conflict. It's not Rosa Parks, it's a marketing trope key signifier to try imply without stating things obviously. This is like first month media studies stuff.

Yeah I know...

Not hes in the back because he's black or because the magazine wouldn't sell that well

Yea I give it to marvel, I'm a lil disappointed in that BvS trailer

The editing really sucked but the actual content of the clips used looks promising.

Black Panther looks dope to me. Should look even better after all the post-production effects work will be applied. That probably won't be until literally opening week before Disney starts distributing the final prints to theaters worldwide.

I just came in here to say how happy I am to hear that that shitty version of fantastic 4 failed!!(like I knew it would).

A huge step closer to marvel getting their shit back, just like the others. Just hope they don't have to go through multiple failures and reboots like spider man did before they let the professionals take a crack at it. God damn they fucking ruined fantastic 4!

Oh, and what do y'all think of black panthers outfit? Shit look kinda wack to me. Kinda reminds me of diggle's suit on arrow lol. I think they could have did a better job on that shit. It looks like something that was made in the 90's.

(For those of y'all who don't watch arrow)

It would be great if he really looked like that drawing. buuuuuuuuuuuut

Look like a updated power ranger suit

Look like he could be a bad guy in power rangers

I just think it's that the lighting makes the helmet look like its a part of a medium priced Halloween costume.

I'm sure it'll be cleaned up a bit in the final stages of post production.

They don't need to, you just need to not compare a low res screen shot to hi-def concept art or photography. Just because you can't see the detail doesn't mean it is not there. These photos clearly show it is.

I'm not comparing to a low res screen shot. I'm comparing to a high-res trailer and the fact there was actually a statement saying the suit will be touched up in post.

Black Panther: Creed's Ryan Coogler in Talks to Direct Marvel Movie

Share.

Negotiations underway.

By Alex Osborn Marvel Studios' upcoming Black Panther movie has reportedly found its director in Ryan Coogler.

According to Variety, Coogler, who directed this year's critically-acclaimed boxing drama Creed, is currently in talks with the studio to direct the superhero flick. Selma's Ava DuVernay was originally in the running, but passed due to creative differences.

Chadwick Boseman will play the title role of T’Challa, with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige producing and Joe Robert Cole scripting.

Ahead of the film's July 2018 release, Black Panther will make his MCU debut when Captain American: Civil War hits theaters this coming May. Boseman recently discussed his role in the film, noting that unlike Thor, the "spoiled brat thing is never an option."

Spider-Man's Costume In Captain America: Civil War Requires Special Effects

Captain America: Civil War co-director Anthony Russo chatted with a Brazilian entertainment website while attending Comic-Con Experience 2015 (CCXP) and he provided some details regarding the Spider-Man costume that Tom Holland (In the Heart of the Sea) will be wearing in the film.

Keep in mind, Russo's responses were published in Portuguese and have been translated to English.

The site, Super Interessante, began by mentioning the rumors of multiple Spider-Man costumes in Captain America: Civil War and wondered what Russo could say on the matter. "Well, we researched a lot and do a lot of experiments for all the characters. We did the same with Spider-Man," Russo offered. "We knew it had to be someone young, it was very important because we wanted to give this essence to the character, it is something unique in the Marvel Universe. Tom Holland is an amazing Spider-Man, people will love it. It was a very experimental process, placing it with other actors, especially with Downey Jr., we were learning as we did and are very happy with the result. But we are still working on some things, like the uniform. He's not ready because so much will be produced with special effects."

Civil War is loosely-based on Mark Millar's comic book mini-series. The Russo brothers had to change things up quite a bit but wanted to capture the essence of Millar's work. One small element from that story arc is that Tony Stark provides Peter Parker with a red-and-gold Spider-Man costume. Will we see a version of it in the film? "The film will show a mix of what everyone is waiting for and a little twist," Russo said. "So yeah, that's what I can tell."

Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability. Get ready to pick a side and join the nonstop action playing out on two fronts when Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War opens in U.S. theaters on May.

Tom Holland's Spider-Man/Peter Parker will debut in Captain America: Civil War, which will arrive on May 6, 2016. He'll then star in the Jon Watts-directed solo Spider-Man movie to be released on July 28, 2017.
