It's the rarest. Has the origin of adamantium ever been explained? I remember a few different versions. One was it came from unkown parts of space or something like that. The other was that it was made by that doctor who turned wolverine into weapon X. But even then they implied that he got that shit from a meteorite or something.

It's conflicting stories on where it originated. Some stories say the Dr who help create Wolverine made it. Then some say the asain dude who's Lady Deathstrikes dad created. It also said that it is a derivative of adamantine (sp) the metal that Hercules and Thor's weapons are made of.

There's also the adamantium skull Wolverine found onboard Ship that Apocalypse had that appeared to be ancient, possibly from a dispute between Kang and Apocalypse over Wolverine's own remains.

Y'all think it could have something to do with the celestials? I know y'all can see the connections. I remember the celestials wore armor similar to galactus. I could be wrong but didn't reed richords or some smart ass nigga say that shit seemed like it was adamantium?

Also, something else that has been bothering me. Has marvel released who star lord's real daddy is yet? I aint been keeping up with the new era of comics so I NEED ANSWERS!!!!!!!!

Lol I always figured iron man's later suits were made out of vibranium. Knew the first couple were just steel or whatever. Adamantium doesn't exist in the mcu though does it? Just vibranium?

Adamantium is in MCU. The top 3 strongest metals in MCU I'd Adamantium, Vibranium and Carbonaium(sp.......the stuff Omega Red's tentacles are made of and the stuff that can kill Wolverine) there's another one that's supposed to be the strongest and that's what Thor's and Hercules weapons are made of.

Vibranium is way more durable than adamantium and black panther and wakanda got it all on lock

Thors hammer is uru, iron man DOES have an uru enchanted thor buster suit in the comics

It was always funny to me that Iron Man's suits were never made of vibranium or at least adamantium. Tony's one of the richest characters in MCU but his suts are all steel. Even Titanium man's suit was stronger

And if you actually read Gunn's "slamming" of the reports, it reads a lot more like him being pissed off that a reveal from his film was spoiled. Why would he randomly address it on his Facebook otherwise? If it was incorrect he'd have been better off saying nothing and letting it ride.

I just came in here to say how happy I am to hear that that shitty version of fantastic 4 failed!!(like I knew it would).

A huge step closer to marvel getting their shit back, just like the others. Just hope they don't have to go through multiple failures and reboots like spider man did before they let the professionals take a crack at it. God damn they fucking ruined fantastic 4!

It's also choosing to ignore the big fucking coccoon that is obviously Warlock's gestation chamber in the Collector's home and Thanos primary rival, brother and the Guardians member that actually has wings made of hard light and stars as part of his own outfit. It's also ignoring the fact Adam's coccoon is blow open in the Howard The Duck scene so obviously he's free to get involved in the next one. This is like the World War Hulk easter egg where Ronan's soldiers resembles Miek from WWH and called Sakaarans, folks are overthinking things at times when a lot of stuff is right there if your paying attention to the details.

The rumors surrounding Quill’s parentage at the present moment are completely false, and aren’t even close to the truth. I don’t know how people come up with this stuff, but it certainly isn’t through legitimate sources.

Doesn't read as pissed off to me. Just an outright denial and refutation of the alleged identity of Quill's dad.

That's because that isn't the full quote from his FaceBook.

Also, I get the desire to get "scoops" on character inclusion and casting choices, etc. But since when is a plot spoiler a "scoop"? Is this really what fandom wants to know? Plot details in movies ahead of time? I got in this business because I love movies, and I think most film journalists are the same way. And spoiling plot details doesn't add to the enjoyment of the film-going experience. So bravo to those folks out there who don't partake in this sort of thing.

But, as I said, eventually someone will actually spoil some detail of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. So this will be my last comment squelching a rumor until May 2017. But if you do pick up on some plot detail between now and then, be aware, A) They are likely full of shit, as has been everyone so far who has claimed to have had inside info, and B) We're creating a film that doesn't rely on plot twists to be an enjoyable experience. They're only a very small part of what we're cooking up for you.
