Looks like people were right that GotG is more comedic than the other movies, but based on the review, sounds like that doesn't make a difference because the movie is still very good.

DOCTOR STRANGE - Does Marvel Want Jared Leto

For some reason Josh Brolin actually popped in my head when I seen how Doc's face looked in that picture. Hopefully this Thanos role helps boost Brolin's career, bruh has been on a not-so-hot streak lately with movies like Oldboy.

Jared Leto as strange would be epic. He has a good body of work including requiem for a dream.

I doubt Leto does is. He doesn't do a lot of movies and the ones he does are usually independent films. I hope he's does but doesn't seem likely. He's also only done I think 2 movies the past 5 years

I had a little bit of knowledge but I wasn't the biggest fan or anything lol but this movie put me on to how they could really display his abilities in the mcu.

I honestly thought Johnny Deep would be a 100% shoe in for Dr. Strange. If it were entirely up to Disney I bet it would happen. Marvel must have said no.

I hate to say I told you so...

It looks like Marvel really wants to tap into the horror vein rather than the whole fantasy aspect Strange can get into as well which is fair enough, they already do that with Thor. I am just concerned Marvel's PG-13 standard may make this a bit more difficult but Insidious did well.

It's more beneficial to go with smaller actors. When you see Johnny Depp in a movie you see him as Johnny Depp just because of how well known he is. A lesser known actor can actually become the character. Plus a smaller actor will be cheaper and more likely to sign a 9 picture deal.

Depp is too goofy for strange. He has the ability to play more serious characters, but at this point he hams everything up. I wouldn't want to see him as Strange because that would basically guarantee him becoming a joke character.

Ala Chris Hemsworth pretty much embodies thor and chris evans has done a great job as cap. Shit the dude that plays winter soldier I pretty much see him as that now lol.
