It's pretty good on first listen. A few joints I won't be replaying much if at all but overall it's pretty good.
The beats the mixes the use of samples with the theme I like it.
It's ill that it dropped on a Sunday with the gospel theme at the top of album and Valentine's Day with soul and r&b influence.
I like the way it almost plays like a DJ/ producer album in the vain of fly lo or Knxledge I guess that's the Kendrick influence he talked about earlier in recording the album.
It drags a bit in the middle in parts like feedback lyrics corny but beat knocks highlights is cheesy but it'll rock in clubs with the beat alone freestyle 4 weak but then the skit freestyle comes on and waves... Lit. Sounds like a a single too. Then fml takes away momentum again hook is cool tho.
The rest is the joints we heard b4 it dropped but they sound better now especially wolves w/o sia n Vic Mensa. He's more on beat on nmpila too and max b skit was dope to me especially cuz I rocked with the wave heavy.
It's a little all over the place cuz he went from Paul the apostle to Pablo Escobar coke induced ranting to Picasso art level shit but I guess that's the point. I'd give it 3.75 maybe 4 outta 5. Might be cuz I'm stoned it got me zoning right now. I'm fucking with this shit tho. It's a keeper for now.

I listened to this album off 1 spin last night and I can't quite give it a solid rating just yet. I will say this about Kanye on a lyrical front he's weak his production has always been his strength on his albums. I'm not a die hard fan of Kanye's overall music/discography but if you're a Kanye fan you should know what to expect on the lyrics end from him. Although after 7 solo albums in, it doesn't excuse the fact to not show growth on that end.
