I think that's one of his problems. He has weird beefs with people that most of us don't even know. Or he name drops brands that most of his audience doesn't care about. And it's not like he's going over people's heads, he's living in a world that doesn't connect with the average listener. That's why most of his lyrics don't resonate with me anymore

That review was crap though. He was right to vent

I thought the review was somewhat accurate. Except the fact the people like maclamore and em are more important. But what do you expect. If a white artist raps and speaks on important social issues they are going to be put on a pedestal by white America. Not saying it's right but what is Kanye talking about on this album? What's his message? What's the theme? It has great production but very shallow lyrically
