thats wassup, everybody told me in hindsight they would skip getting A+ and the other certs and jump right into CCNA so thats why I did it.

My school is already paid for so thats why Im not self learning and buying all the cisco hardware could get expensive, thats why Im just doing the lil associate degree program at school

I might go back and get the A+ and stuff after but I'll probably just go after the higher Cisco certs after I finish

A+ was cool to get back in the day because it never expired. now you gotta retest every 3 years i believe.

That and I was told that once you get a few months experience, the A+ no longer adds any value to your market worth.

i dont have a job in the IT field currently and trying to break into it immediately. but yes its redundant in the grand scheme of things so as soon as i get into i will start for my ccna

if you study hard enough, yes.i will only have about 5 weeks invested into studying for the n+ when i go to take it, but from what i have been told its a nice foundation for ccna because it covers the basics

Just put in my schedule for my Linux Essentials exam. Afterwards, I may need to take ccna and the other cisco network certs, so rusty on networking!

Any of yall good with wireshark? Its not really a part of my cisco curriculum though it seems like it should be , and Im guessing its almost necessary to know how to use it with a networking job.

yeah. learn that shit as much as you can. very helpful in network troubleshooting

Its a black ran organization dealing with mental illness and aids patients I only been here a month mad drama floating around I love it tho

30k im working at a non profit so im being underpaid but the title looks a great for when I go to get another

The average systems admin in york is like 50k ima make 40k because I have a 2nd job

But being salaried for the first time is cool as fuck I dont loose nothing of my check for being late or missing work little things like that help alot

My checks used to hurt if I got sick on my second job

Every day im learning something new that I know is going to help me get more certs and earn more money

We have multiple sites thatbi teavel to if needed some of them I just rdp into

So some days im out all day and only clock in and out of my main site
