i saw a youtube review video that said they will be getting the yellow and blue school costumes that look like the ones jim lee created back in the 90s near the end of the film. x men apocalypse will be a 2 parter so maybe in the sequel there will be a new team line up with individual costumes like the all new all different x men(wishful thinking)

next one?? they need to stop making these movies even though dofp was good to me

They make money. Last movie in this franchise just became the highest grossing R rated movie ever. The one before that came close to making a billion. As long as that keeps up this franchise is going nowhere.

@broddie the two parter i was thinking about was infinity wars. i believed i heard apocalypse was a two parter i mean you're not going to beat apocalypse and his 4 horsemen in a single movie with that line up, unless the 4 horsemen break from apocalypse's control and join forces with the xmen which more than likely will be the scenario.

So no one will really show the updated new costumes huh? No X-Manes on the IC huh? Aite fam

It's only for a photoshoot doesn't mean anything movie wise with Singer still there.

Not true, in the new trailer you can see Mystique rocking her classic white attire which means they will wear it for the final battle.

Yo anyone watch Astonishing X Men? I caught a few episodes yesterday. I'm not a fan of the animation style but the stories themes are exactly what an X Men show should be about

It's a motion comic book meaimg it's am actual comic book and they added some animation framesmfor effect. I have the actual hard over graphic novel and issues. Asonishin xmen was a good series. The movie x3 actually borrowed some elements!from that story with the mutant cure.

Gambit Production Delayed, Director Doug Liman Beginning Work on Another Film

As oft-speculated, there's now finally a concrete report that Gambit has been delayed. The film, originally scheduled for filming now and a mid-late 2016 release, is now on director Doug Liman's backburner. Liman will next helm The Wall for Amazon Studios if negotiations go through, THR reports.

Gambit, meanwhile, is being rewritten. Channing Tatum is still signed on to star in the film, and his production partner Reid Carolin is working on the rewrites. According to the report, Liman still plans to direct - he's already the second director on the project, following Rupert Wyatt. The Wall, a a thriller about a sniper, will be a relatively small production, giving Liman the chance to handle the film before moving back to Gambit.

The movie is the next in a series of solo X-Men projects as Fox tries to expand the franchise, on both the big screen and small. No new projected release date for Gambit or official statement on the delay has been released by 20th Century Fox at this time.

Next X-Men Movie After Apocalypse Rumored To Be Dark Phoenix

dark-phoenix-rumor-179278.jpg

Not content to let one adaptation of a classic storyline be the end of the conversation, X-Men producers are reportedly mulling The Dark Phoenix Saga as a potential follow-up to X-Men: Apocalypse.

The storyline, published in 1980, is generally considered to be one of the high water marks in X-Men history. The last time elements of it were adapted, in 2006's X-Men: The Last Stand, it didn't satisfy longtime fans of the franchise.

In the comics, the Dark Phoenix Saga was a space-heavy adventure that incorporated a number of rarely-used elements of X-Men mythology, including the Shi'Ar Empire. None of the space material was adapted in X-Men: The Last Stand, which closed out the original trilogy of X-films but wasn't directed by Bryan Singer (who has directed four of the six team movies, including X-Men: Apocalypse).

Rumors have swirled that Dark Phoenix could be the next X-Men film, but now Heroic Hollywood is saying they're hearing it from studio sources, rather than just internet chatter. Earlier this month, producers had indicated that they were at least interested in using elements of the story.

Jean Grey, whose character has never fully been the same since the events of the Dark Phoenix storyline, will be reintroduced in X-Men: Apocalypse, along with original movie X-Men Storm and Cyclops.

X-Men: Apocalypse is the ninth film in the X-Men franchise, and the fourth to be directed by Bryan Singer. The film features a screenplay by Simon Kinberg, and stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Olivia Munn, Evan Peters, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Lucas Till, Josh Helman, Lana Condor and Ben Hardy.

X-23 rumored to join Old Man Logan film

wolverine_and_x_23_in_mc_by_graciekane-d2z9b13.jpg

It’s been known for some time that the upcoming Wolverine 3 will feature Hugh Jackman’s Logan and Patrick Stewart’s Charles Xavier teaming up, but there may be another X-Men character along for the ride in the film. Though it remains unconfirmed, we’ve heard that the mutant X-23 will be making her feature debut and will join Wolverine and Professor X for their journey in the sequel.

X-23 made her comic book debut in 2004, after originally being conceived and debuting in the animated series X-Men: Evolution. Her origins stem from a group attempting to replicate the Weapon X program, which gave Wolverine his Adamantium skeleton, but who decided to go in a different direction and attempt to clone Wolverine outright. The first 22 attempts at cloning Logan failed, which is where the young mutant received her code name after being the first success.

Like Wolverine, X-23 (later given the name Laura Kinney) has superhuman strength, reflexes, agility, and a healing factor. The primary difference in the pair is X-23 has only two claws on her hands, with an extra that can be popped out of each of her feet. Throughout her publication history, X-23 has been a loner, a member of the X-Men and X-Force, and recently took on the mantle of Wolverine following the hero’s death.

Hugh Jackman will reprise his role of Wolverine for the upcoming film along with Patrick Stewart as Professor X and Boyd Holbrook as the film’s lead villain. Wolverine 3 will be directed by James Mangold from a script by David James Kelly. It is currently scheduled to arrive in theaters on March 3, 2017.
