Does anyone know the deal for this? I know there was some loophole so FOX and Marvel could both use Quicksilver, but wouldnt that same loophole work for Scarlet Witch? Lots of potential for FOX if they used Scarlett witch. She seems to be involved in quite a few big Xmen stories.

fox owns the rights to them marvel can only use them as long as they didnt say they're mutants and didn't say they're magnetos kids

It its goimg to be just like dofp everybody was laughing and complaining before the movie dropped . when it hit the theaters everybody had stfu. This new trilogy can't loose and this revamped xmen universe is way better than the original

Lol i didnt watch First Class or DOFP until January of this year. Thats how much i hated the xmen franchise. First 2 were cool, but my step dad took me to see Xmen 3 in theaters and we both hated it. Then the wolverine movies made me totally not give a fuck about any xmen related films. I liked First class a lot and DOFP was cool. This one i was hesitant to like, but the trailers are really dope. Despite Mystique being the leader, it looks like it will have some good action in it. Cant understand why Storm and Mystique cant switch places. Especially with Mystique following magneto after first class.

Mystique as the leader is hilariously stupid. Cycclops, Storm, Wolverine, Jean, Rogue, and others has all been leaders in the Apocalypse wars but they went with Mystique of all people.

Yeah I get that but people aren't going to see this because of Jennifer Lawrence. Execs think so but that's not the case. They are going to see it because it's a blockbuster, super hero/comic book film and easily recognizable.

X-Men like Pepsi is a brand name.

Don't get me wrong, stars are needed and to sell tickets but not for movies like these. They could replace Mystique with any white woman and X-Men would still be marketable.

Unless we talking RDJ (and we all know it didn't start that way), largely these films have not been contingent on star power.

X-men period lowkey is white washed

1. All Minority Characters outside of Storm and Monet St. Croix are wall paper or killed off

2. they broke up the most visible and only full black couple because white males complained

3. Minority woman in x-men only date the white males

4. They turned bishop into a villian to kill a great white hope, a baby infant...

What this franchise once represented isnt being represented that way anymore. Right now its a story where white people can read and feel oppressed
