Super Smash Bros. Melee no longer being streamed at EVO 2013, Nintendo not granting permission for broadcast
It has been reported that Super Smash Bros. Melee will no longer be streamed at EVO 2013 this weekend. Nintendo of America has informed Shoryuken that the Evolution tournament series does not have permission to broadcast the game.
Due to this recent development, the stream and event schedules have been altered. Below are the revised EVO 2013 stream and tournament schedules.

Here are some of the changes that will be made to coincide with the removal of Super Smash Bros. Melee's stream time.
• Smash has been removed from the stream schedule and replaced with a mix of Persona 4 Arena and King of Fighters XIII
• Smash Finals have been moved from Sunday to Saturday, 2:00 PM
• Persona 4 Arena Finals have been moved to Sunday, 10:00 AM
• King of Fighters XIII Finals have beem moved to Sunday, 12:00 PM

Updated: Infiltration and Laugh are no longer able to participate in the 3v3 tournament at EVO and have been replaced by FGC|Dieminion and LU|Alex Valle, where they'll join Popi on Team Wildcard.
EVO 2013 is taking place later this week and will be host to many of the world's best fighting game combatants. Spanning from Friday July 12 - Sunday July 14, we can expect to see some incredible matches in games such as Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition v2012, Injustice: Gods Among Us and much more.
In addition to the main tournament action, an 8 team, 3v3 international event will be held with various high level players duking it out in Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition v2012. Taking place on Friday, this will be a character locked competition with $1,000 going to the 1st place winners.

Updated: Ed Boon took to Twitter again today and stated that along with the new character reveal trailer at EVO this weekend, we will be seeing a new character skin. Apparently, this is an alternate costume that many fans have been talking about for some time. NetherRealm Studios Ed Boon has been hinting lately at an Injustice: Gods Among Us reveal pegged for EVO 2013. This morning, Boon confirmed that the 5th DLC character is going to be announced this weekend in Las Vegas.
Not only will we found out who the next character is but Boon added that a gameplay footage trailer is also going to be showcased at the event.

Double Helix Games is following the reveal motif as they are set to show off Glacius in Killer Instinct this weekend, along with a new character.
Additionally, Yoshinori Ono stated the other day that Capcom USA staff would be attending EVO 2013 for one of their panels, so it's possible we could see multiple fighting game announcements this weekend.
