Making threads about it only lends credibility to such outlets. Would this even have been an issue if Complex or Urb had made the same or similar statements? If Rollingstone, MTV, and Vibe's opinions on Hip Hop are irrelevant, why make this an issue? It's not like everybody's going to agree with it anyway. Everyone has their own idea and criteria for who the King of Hip Hop is. These are the same outlets that claim The Beatles are GOAT, but to me Stevie Wonder holds that title despite what a media outlet says. It falls squarely on the individual to determine things like this.

Even more so, no outlet ever claimed Eminem to be the GOAT. Nobody's rewriting history. It was more so a "now" thing than an "all time" list.
