I personally think he will not, as he does not deserve to be considered in the same list as Nas, Rakim, Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap, Ice Cube, etc... He is very mediocre and makes plain music. 50 Cent had the same hype as him years ago. Fans were calling him a legend back then, but look at him now.. That's what I feel Wayne is right now, just a rap artist living in the hype.
