I think youre only a legend if you inspire other people to use your style and push hip hop forward... Wayne has always been a "Mr. Me Too" so he's really done nothing for the game except outsell everyone

the funny part about that statement is a lot of that shit that we thought was throwaway is now coming back in full force. It may not mean shit to u but just like i hold on to the 90's there will be cats that will hold on to this era of rap homie.

I told that clown that a long time ago. Niggas dont ever want to let their generation go, and they think that the current generations music sucks and their generation is superior. Its been so many classics released over the last 10 years, but let him tell it only the artist he likes have released a classic. Sometimes you just have to let an idiot have his day.

Out of that list, Wayne will be put ahead of KoolG and (maybe Cube due to ignorance). Dude can rap, but can't make songs. He's like Big L, Big Pun and them.

Also, stop comparing 50 to Wayne. Wayne will rap circles around 50. 50 has nothing. No punchlines, no metaphors, no wordplay, no syllables, no heart felt songs, no good storytelling tracks etc. The only thing 50 has is the ear to pick good beats. ... Wayne is better on all cylinders.

DMX is a legend.

Him and JayZ followed the same format, so I don't see why he can't be put up there with Jay.

Pharoahe Monch is irrelevant to most hip-hop listeners, and only put out like 3 albums in 13 years.

KoolGR can rap, but can't make songs for shit.

Scarface will be forgotten. Dude is irrelevant to the new generation.

Andre 3K hasn't even dropped a solo album, so self-explanatory.

Wayne will more than likely be put ahead of those 5 rappers. Actually probably not JayZ because dudes are obsessed with how much money he has, instead of how wack his pen game has gotten. Plus Jay's been doing it longer than Wayne.

Wayne's skills are arguably as good or better than Big's. ... and Wayne will never be ranked higher than a Rakim or BDK. Those guys along with LL set the blueprint for this rap shit.

Lls ur credibility on these boards are thin to non

actually there were actually black people been on that skating for decades well before rappers were trying to sellout to white america by attempting to skateboard mid career like wayne. just like niggas were playing guitar for decades (With actual talent and soul) before wyane met garbage rock bands and thought he could play an instrument......now get back to your uncle tomming bitch cotton lol.

Like it or not, Wayne is already a legend (I'm not a huge Wayne fan but I appreciate him & his music). For a while when you turned on the radio, Wayne was the ONLY nigga who was just SPITTING. No hooks, nothing, just rap. A Milli, 6 Foot 7 Foot, etc. I missed that in hip hop. Plus Wayne has been doing it since he was 12 years old, this is his entire life. So whether you like it or not, Wayne is hip hop to the fullest and he is a legend
