LMAO @ niggas sayin wayne can be at the top of the game for 5 - 10 more years.lmao shit is just unrealistic thinking

Nah its not unrealistic. He's not even 30 yet or in his prime and like i said previously the dude knows how to survive a drought. Plus despite what niggas think about his album he is still in HIGH demand.

Be real, if Carter 4 bombs y'all honestly gonna still check for Wayne after that? I know die hard Wayne stand that even think this is the last straw, and some that haven't messed with him since 07'.....

Mainstream music has lowered the bar for rappers each year, Wayne can keep rapping till he's 40, making the exact same music if he wants to and niggas will still bang his shit.

Wayne is gonna leave the rap game when he wants too, not cuz he anit hot in the streets anymore. I personal think he should call it quits cuz the music he's doing now is so far off from his Carter 2 days.

Why would it be over when Carter 3 did major numbers and got a grammy, IANAHB did decent numbers and that was just some bullshit they put together to keep Wayne relavant, also rebirth did pretty good.

This is easy.......No. He is on the charts heavily right now plus his whole label is about to head the Summer Jam......In NEW YORK!!!! If one thing I have learned about these Cash Money cats is that they ride the bad waves as well as they ride the good waves. We counted Wayne dead after 500 degrees and then releases the Carters and Dedications and shoots him into the stratosphere. Also Wayne isn't even 30 yet so if yall talkin bout two or three......try 5-10 more years left due to the fact that rappers are goin strong past 40 now. Sorry for the people that can't stand Wayne cuz he's gonna be here for a while.

Dude is a dopehead. Bound to fall off, word to all the rest of the vets whove been down that road. Plus he doesnt show growth at all

Hey dopeheads make good music LOL!!!! He has been bound to fall off since 500 Degreez and made us look stupid before. This might sound crazy in the IC but to a lot of critics and a lot of people Wayne has shown a lot of growth from Carter 2 to Carter 3. Based on Carter 3 got him mostly all of what he's experiencing right now. With his track record and the fact that Baby is NEVER gonna stop delivering Wayne albums he's here people!!!!

Man I was on the verge of being a Wayne stan til after Dediciation 2 dropped in summer 06. That was his last RAW body of work in my opinion. I mean I still check for him here and there and he might have a couple gems every now and then but it's few and far between now...but I don't ever remember seeing an artist fall off so quick musically.

Yall gotta understand that the mainstream audience is mad fickle. Even for Wayne. Unless he goes the Jay-Z route, there's no way he'll be "at the top" for another 5-10 years. It's choices and decisions you gotta make as an artist. You can accept your time is up and not compromise your art/quality and keep a solid but smaller fan base (basically become a mid-card artist), do what Jay-Z did (and try to use your status along with riding every trend), or just fall the fuck off in all facets. Wayne already gave up on his quality.

But hey, maybe being sober now will help. But I admit, I'll probably lose all hope for Wayne if Carter IV ain't at least a 3.5/5. Carter III was subpar to me.

lol Word to the 500 Degreez comment but he was still damn near a teenager I believe. Wayne will be Wayne imo, he doesnt know anything else. He doesnt have what it takes to be a Jay, Nas, Pac, Em imo but I will listen. Not expecting much and I will continue to clown the big fans until i hear otherwise.

Stop talking numbers, I'm talking music. Carter 3 was pathetic minus 3/4 songs and IANAHB was trash. If Carter 4 is wack were does he go from here musically?

Wrong. Hip Hop fans are mad fickle. Mainstream will buy your album off your name alone. Wayne has reached this status right here

Why Nelly can't sell any more then????? Wayne's main audience right now is 13-20 year old white girls who aren't gonna ride for him in 10 years b.
