i think being "soft" goes beyond your music. Calling someone "soft" because of a song they made on a experimental album doesn't make sense. (Regardless of popular perception) saying Common is soft is like saying Outkast is soft or Cube is soft for doing movies

All right, back to 1.

First off, you can't blame it on him "experimenting" if he made soft songs on other albums too. Hell that experiment excuse doesn't work either unless it was just on a feature.

Secondly, and again for the thousandth time, nobody said Common was soft.

He just dissed a rapper for making the same type of he's made in the past.

And if he tried to diss Jay for BP3, I'd be right back in this thread to call him a hypocrite for UMC.

Probably because he'd have to have done something to you. I'm not hip to the Pusha T situation or I don't remember but that sounds random as fuck. Luda had a reason to diss Drake and Sean but 1. After he bit them 2. After he waited a year tll new album time. So he mad. That's alright though, most rap beefs start with a nigga being mad for one reason or another. Common don't even got that reason.

Now Drake has had beefs with Canada niggas over some shit that was more personal than offhandedly mentioning a shitty line you made in a song. It's more respectable, but a beef is a beef I guess.
