Snatched this off some nigga on Reddit.

So if this 21st Century Fox buyout by Walt Disney is approved, that'll leave the stateside Dragonball films rights in Disney's hands (since Fox was a producer of the anime movies starting with BoG). It's crazy how these huge ass corporations continue eating each other.

its offical Disney owns 21CF

Then on top of that Sony is now the (majority) owner of FUNimation (which is fuckin hilarious since that makes FUNi and Aniplex of America sister companies and the latter already handles the majority of their properties in North America). FUNi's been pretty good about brokering deals when it was independent, so that might not hurt much, but if I know anything about how these Japanese corporations operate when it comes to their properties and subsidiaries, it can be pretty cutthroat.

The Disney/21st deal is particularly interesting to me because they're finally nestling certain Marvel properties from Fox. Well that, among other things

The next movie is about the yamoshi dude and the origin of Saiyan

Makes sense. Might be apart of the upcoming saiyan arc. When battle of the gods came out, toriyama talked about the 12 gods and universes potentially becoming a story when that movie released and look where we are. This shit been in plans since this u6 vs u7 tournament. Vegeta wanting to visit u6 saiyan planet was the first hint.

OmniKing about to make a guest appearance in the next Mickey Mouse movie.

Lmao, but doubtful, they only own the international distribution rights to the movies BoG and so forth, not the actual Dragonball property. It just means they have their hands in one aspect of it. Japanese licensing is something I've been following for a looooong time and it's weird and confusing as fuck.
