In the anime, it looks like it. The manga is different though. At this point Vegeta can still do everything that Goku can and they are still hyping him up in the same way they are with Goku. It can change, but the anime and manga handle Vegeta very differently.

Yea vegeta cant do kaoken or IT or defend himself against hit

Kaioken SSB isn't a thing in the manga. Instead, they developed something called the perfected SSB. Goku managed to do it first against Zamasu. Vegeta did it later vs Beerus. IT is just a technique. Vegeta has techniques that Goku doesn't use as well, so that's not a big deal. We don't know what Vegeta can do against Hit now. Hit didn't push Goku to the limit in the Manga the way he did in the Anime. Goku didn't need a special powerup to keep up.

Also, Vegeta has the red SSG form and he's the one that perfected switching between it and SSB, not Goku. So again, the Manga is keeping Vegeta and Goku at roughly the same level.

So goku didn't use kaiken agaibst hit in the manga?

Nope, their fight was much shorter and had much less drama. Hit tried to fight Goku the way he fought Vegeta, but Goku knew the secret, so he was basically able to defend against Hit's attacks as a SSJ2. Hit got more serious and Goku went SSR to counter. At this point Goku is basically outclassing Hit. Hit then goes into his full powered state believing, it would be enough to beat Goku. Goku switches to SSB in the middle of Hit's attack, counters, and then tries to finish Hit with a Kamehameha. Hit dodges it. It seems that Goku was the superior fight, but he points out that he knows Hit was forced to hold back due to not being able to use his assassin techniques, so Goku leaves the ring.

- The GoD match was stopped because zeno samas couldn't follow it and were getting bored

- Toppo confirmed as GoD candidate, Jiren confirmed stronger than Belmod

- Toppo said fighting SSJ3 goku was a waste of his time

- SSG Goku was almost even with Toppo

- One of the GoD's commented that SSG Goku and Toppo's battle was "already on the level of us gods"

Now the big spoiler. Yeah Goku went blue and got kicked straight out the ring by Toppo, but it looked worse than it was. After the match, Toppo told Goku he only landed the kick cause Goku got cocky and reckless with his attack, and basically just swung on him like it was bumfights in '07. Easy to dodge and counter.

He said if Goku hadn't let his guard down, he doesn't know if he could have beat him. So we basically in the same place they were after the anime fight. Inconclusive between them, with slight advantage to Goku.

Beerus was dead ass sure Blue would beat Toppo and gassed Goku's head up during the fight, which made him swing all wild.

The tone of the manga is so much different than the show. It'll be interesting to see how the tournament is handled. Nobody hates Goku in the manga because everyone already understands how Goku helped everyone. The manga also does a better job of showing how powerful the GoDs are. Not all of them are on the same level, but the ones at the top of the pile are far above Goku and Co. That said, the manga also does a good job of showing how far Goku and Vegeta stand out. Pretty much everyone is shocked by how powerful Goku and Toppo are. They clearly aren't normal by any standard.

Cabba reached SS2 just to get sonned by Lord Frieza. That shit was bad. What made it bad was dude had just reached a new plateau and he was still far ourclassed. Caulifla and Kale surpassed him quick asf. I like that he knew his role on the team and was just trying to help, instead of trying to be the hero himself.

Vegeta told Toppo to fuck off and then got hit with the ricochet bullet lol.

Uni 6 is taking hella Ls. I don't think they'll ve around much longer so they juicing these eps featuring them.

I like the psychology of the eps now. Exhaustion is becoming just as much of a weapon as any attack. Dude's is burnt out.

It doesn't really work like that. The canon for DB is basically whatever Toriyama actively works on. In this case that's the anime. The manga is outsourced. It's given the same basic storyline, but the writer is willing to take liberties, and he's taken enough to the point where the two are very different.
