Close but it was actually 2/26/86. The 1st Episode aired in America 15 years later in Aug of 2001. Crazy how far behind the U.S. was when they finally got it. GT was over in Japan before they got the 1st episodes here.

Got dayum we got it before yall LOLOL. The first time I see Dragon Ball was in 1996, I remember when it came out that shit was EVERYWHERE. It was like an anime invasion. You gotta understand in Canada it was the first time we had ever seen anything like it. It used to be Samurai Pizza Cats, Sailor Moon & Dragonball Z, they swept the nation.

Samurai Pizza Cats was a good show btw.

I remember watching them joints in the 90s before school. Sailor Moon & Dragon Ball was always paired together like that here until Toonami took over.
