Bullshit. As convoluted as this show is, they could use Gohan getting better as foreshadowing that cell somehow comes back(geros son survived or some shit) and had Gohan fight and then recruited him for the team as an antihero.

And even if you say that what I said still doesn't make since, it doesn't matter, because what you said is also a huge reach about the Frieza frost shit. It's a fucking show at the end of the day so it doesn't have to make sense, as we've seen by yalls silence on a lot of the stuff that doesn't make sense, like the majority of the Future Trunks/Black Arc

As has been stated before, Shueisha opened up a division to take over Dragonball's development long after Toriyama's geriatric, Alzhiemer's having ass passes to the river Stix or whatever tha fuck the Japanese believe in.
