Due to Japan's new censorship rules compared to the 90's and the fact that in Japan it's broadcasted in like the afternoon when kids are more than likely watching, that's why it's not as violent as Z was.

Nowhere has it been said SSB multiplies anything. They clearly explained what SSB was and the primary benefit of it is that it lets them access SSJ level power without the stamina drain.

Now I could be wrong because it's been a while since I saw those episodes, but if I am, post exactly where it's said that SSJ2 Vegeta was stronger than SSJ3 Goku or where someone said SSB muliplied one of the normal SSJ .
