This shit is mad confusing. But it is indeed present universe 10 supreme kai zamasu. He recognized goku and however he joined with black which I think is a god of destruction gave him the equipment that he is now wearing.

Dude its obvious that Zamasu is probably the Supreme Kai in Trunks timeline.

They went to a whole separate universe though meaning the timelines would most likely be different and flow only according to that specific place. We were told the Kai or Trunks world is dead and Zamasu isn't even promoted to a Supreme Kai yet.

My theory is that black is the god of destruction of universe 10. It was confirmed that the god of destruction in trunks timeline died when the supreme kai of trunks timeline was killed.

Possibly but we still don't know about why Gokus body or even how it was acquired but Tori saying the villains hair will be white seems to point to Zamasu and Black fusing in my opinion.

It would be the Zamasu of Trunks timeline. I doubt the Zamasu of the current time would just be giving away time rings and doing all this while being watched. Which means he's probably not being watched.

The Supreme Kai of Trunks timeline is gone which means Beerus is also gone. If there is a God of Destruction there has to be a God of Creation.

It doesn't explain why Black has Goku's body and abilities though.

A shot in the dark would be that Zamasu resurrected Goku using the Universal dragon balls turned him evil so he could be God Of Destruction and had himself promoted to Supreme Kai.

The three/ four entities capable of stopping Zamasu in Trunks time are gone. (Beerus, Supreme Kai and whatever his master/teacher is) if all of them are gone then Zamasu is free to do whatever he wants.

A potato fusion between a god of destruction and a kaioshin would be epic and unstoppable . But....a 30 min goku anD vegeta fusion could work with a Zenkai boost shit you mentioned x2 could probably defeat black.
