It's kinda wack they killed off all the sayains...never understood why they didn't wish a planet back and try to repopulate it with sayains

I was just thinkin I wonder why they didn't start some saiyan colony on earth

I think its because goku knows that saiyans are malevolent by nature and goku being the good natured person he is wouldn't wish back a world full of wicked beings to trouble the universe. we all know vegeta is an asshole and his own brother raditz threatened to kill his son if he didn't kill at least 100 humans. now would you wish back something like that?

And lets not forget how Nappa fucked up shit on earth.He pretty much killed 3 of the z fighters and blew up a city by himself along with others...I doubt they would be as forgiving compare to how they let Fat Buu and Android 18 slide

Makes me think sometimes if Goku and company would get along with Captain Ginyu after watching their battle on Namek

I feel you a little, but it looks like they're going deeper into their lives in the episodes. Battle of the Gods wasn't that long and felt kind of rushed, so it seems like they're bringing out the magnifying glass and letting you soak up more surrounding the movie for the episodes.
