The only way I see them taking out Fat Bills (if he is indeed the new villain) is if SSG Blue Goku fuse with SSG Blue Vegeta....

Frieza was hanging at the beginning, he was dodging Gokus punches and sending him into mountains but Goku and Vegeta knew that fatigue would get Freiza quick bc he didn't take the time to master the form just like his 100% form, as soon as he unlocked the Gold form he immediately went down to Earth looking for Goku and Trunks....

Whis lesson was for Goku and Vegeta was to work together bc each have opposite problems in battle but if they fight together then it balances out, that's why at the end they acknowledge that fact but Goku and Vegeta still didn't put their Saiyan pride aside and mutually agreed they won't fight along side each other, but i think Fat Bills will force them to fuse again....

You're missing the lesson that Whis had for Goku as an individual though. Remembr Whis basically said that Goku fights down to the level of his opponent in order to get the most enjoyment out of the fight. That's what he did with Freiza. You see how easily Vegeta handled Freiza. Goku could have done the same, but he never just tries to finish fights.
