I just watched all the trailers and behind the scenes stuff and this looks like a real bad ass project. It's already the best DBZ live action I've ever seen.

The acting is a bit questionable but considering it's an independent project with a limited budget I'll overlook it.

I understand it's probably much easier to play the androids because you don't have to be emotional or show any range but Gohan and Trunks are emotionally driven roles so I expect plenty of criticism of their acting.

Whenever you are attempting to recreate classic characters that people hold dear you will have a lot of backlash and I can see on YouTube already folks complaining and these are just trailers.

It was brave of them to tackle this and I'm glad they did. It looks like it will be a fun series at least.

YouTube has really impressed me with the Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat webseries, it would be awesome to be able to add DBZ to it.

Big budget Hollywood wants to recreate too much and take too many liberties with the material. I don't really see that with what has been put out there with these webseries so far.

it was about some cat in his feelings over some puddin'. Nigga wasn't even the strongest there. That Super Saiyan God looked weak AF G. All the fan art of SSJ5/6/7 look a hundred times better than it did. And it makes no sense. A quarter Saiyan fetus was able to contribute to makin' the God? And since when did Vegeta have a pure heart. How could the fetus have a pure heart? I swear them things don't even have hearts yet?

Vegeta has had a pure heart since he first went SSJ. I think his reasoning was that it was pure evil or something along those lines. Maybe that was just American translation. The point is that pure =/= good.

Goku actually asks for help - Master Roshi, King Kai, his training on Yadrat (where he learned Instantaneous Transmission), Elder Kai, Otherworld training with Pikkon and the Grand Kai, training with Uub etc. etc.

If Vegeta wasn't so stubborn and seeked training from others just as strong as him or stronger who had a lot to teach him he'd have progressed the way Goku did too. The mere fact that Vegeta got as strong as he did tho w/o any help is a testament to how powerful he was and how much sheer strength he had. At age 10, Vegeta was stronger than Nappa and his own father, that's wild man - and that's not even including ape form.

He’s back!

Frieza is returning and he’s not alone, Anime News Network reports.

In the January 2015 issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine, visual elements for the upcoming 2015 Dragon Ball Z film are unveiled. The magazine also reveals the film's official title: Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F (Dragon Ball Z: F Is For Fukkatsu, or 'resurrection').

But Frieza isn’t the only Dragon Ball Z baddie who is making a comeback. Beerus, the villain from last year's Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, is also set to return.

Much like the previous film, Dragon Ball Z: Fukkatsu no F will tell a new story: An Earth where peace has arrived. However, remnants of Frieza's army Sorbet and Tagoma (from the Japanese word for 'egg') arrive on the planet. Their goal is to revive Frieza with the dragon balls. Their dastardly wish is granted, and the revenge against the Saiyans is revived.

The new film will open in Japanese theaters in both 2D and 3D in April of next year.
