Besides the fact the Snyder refuses to use any lighting for his scenes the trailer was good. I must admit it's just weird watching the first full length trailer for a live action JL movie and have no mention of Supes at all. But it did it's job and am cautiously looking forward to this.

They also need to do more work on Cyborg his CGI doesn't look good yet at all.

He uses lighting he just constantly masks it under a blue filter.

Okay thanks for clearing that up. It's like every time I watch these DC movies it looks like someone turned off the fucking light switch. Wonder Woman looks like it will be better made on a technical level.

Justice League and Thor Ragnorak are released 2 weeks apart. That could be interesting.

I'll be seeing both. So will the rest of you. What a time!

Depends on the Thor trailer, but so far the set pics looks good

It's the closest we'll get to a new Hulk movie so ya better support it so Marvel can get the hint. I haven't seen one of those jawns at the movies since The Avengers (2012) but if this gets us closer to another Hulk solo I'm in there like swimwear.

naw...not trying to see a thor with no hammer

I'll see JL because I like Bats and WW in limited viewing

Aquaman in this trailer is like a mix of Peter David era with The Brave & The Bold cartoon. I wish his movie was coming sooner.

Major Flash Story Point Revealed In Justice League Trailer

The much-anticipated Justice League trailer dropped today and included all sorts of goodies for DCEU fans all across the globe — including an extended look at parademons and our first look at JK Simmons’ Commissioner Jim Gordon.

Among all of the quick shots was one of Barry Allen (Ezra Miller) sitting at a prison’s visitor center talking to his father, Henry Allen (Billy Crudup). Fans of the Scarlet Speedster may have gotten quite excited as the scene is a large part of Barry’s origin story.

Those who watch The Flash on The CW, it’s a storyline that shapes the character’s roots, and the main reason for the existence of the ever-popular Flashpoint crossover event in the DC Comics Universe.

For those that aren’t too in-tune with The Flash — as it’s not an origin as well-known as Thomas and Martha Wayne’s disastrous stroll down a dimly lit alley — Barry Allen’s arch-nemesis Professor Zoom/Reverse-Flash goes back in time and murders Barry’s mother Nora. And since the Central City Police Department doesn’t quite believe in time-traveling scientists, Henry is framed with the murder.

With Henry Allen making his DCEU debut in Justice League, it may paint a more clear picture of what Warner Brothers is planning with the solo The Flash outing, which is currently under a script re-write after having gone through two directors.

In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, and features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck (Batman), Henry Cavill (Superman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Ezra Miller (The Flash), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Ray Fisher (Cyborg), Ciarán Hinds (Steppenwolf), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Jeremy Irons (Alfred Pennyworth), J.K. Simmons (Commissioner Gordon), Amber Heard (Mera), Kiersey Clemons (Iris West) and Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor).

DC and Warner Bros. have a full slate ahead, with Teen Titans: The Judas Contract coming first on April 4, 2017. After that it's time for Wonder Woman on June 2, 2017, followed by Justice League on November 17, 2017. The Batman is expected sometime in 2018, with The Flash debuting on March 23, 2018. Aquaman is set for October 5, 2018, and Nightwing's solo feature is due sometime in 2019.

Batman

Ben Affleck returns as Batman in Justice League. After witnessing the death of Superman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Bruce Wayne is forcing himself to come out of the shadows that Batman is used to occupying in order to assemble and then to become the leader of the Justice League.

“He’s been a loner for certainly his crime-fighting career, maybe with the exception of Robin,” Snyder says. “When we meet him in BvS, he’s definitely at this low point of isolation. That was always our intention, that Justice League would be this continuation for Batman to evolve into a more complete hero.”

Wonder Woman

Gal Gadot debuted as Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. By the time Justice League releases, Gadot will have starred in Wonder Woman's first solo movie.

Snyder, who is a producer on Wonder Woman, says the solo film will "flesh out and realize (her island home) Themyscira and embrace canon with her and get all the elements to mash up that I love from the original stories. But also we’ll see that dovetail into not only the why of BvS, but even now the why of Justice League and who she is finally realized. We know now where she comes from.”

The Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg

Excluding their cameo roles in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Justice league will also be the debut film for Ezra Miller as the Flash, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg.

Snyder says each of them is important to balancing the Justice League roster and are important to the story, noting that "“they’re each such awesome personalities in the movie. You have Jason stomping around as this inked hairy man, just this mythic figure. And you’ve got Ezra, who’s full of life and hilarious and all over the place and amazing — a really fun and also poignant Flash. And Ray’s story is in a lot of the ways the heart of the movie.”

Why they still got the flash listed for next year? Aren't they rewriting the script?

Take a first look at the Black Lightning costume as production begins on the DC Comics pilot

The latest DC Comics small screen hero has today made a colorful debut. Black Lightning, starring Cress Williams (Hart of Dixie) in the title role, has officially started production in Atlanta. In the gallery viewer below, you can take a first look at the Black Lightning costume in a piece of art from the upcoming The CW pilot. Greg Berlanti, Salim Akil, Mara Brock and Sarah Schechter are executive producers on Black Lightning, from Berlanti Productions and Akil Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. Salim Akil is directing the pilot from a script he wrote.

“I knew way too much about the world as a young boy growing up in Richmond, California,” says Akil. “I was no stranger to violence, death, hopelessness or the feeling that no one cared about what was happening in my life… Comics were a great way for me to escape. I was about 13 when Black Lightning was created, and finally there was a Black Super Hero that gave a damn about our neighborhood and our lives.”

Black Lightning, created by Tony Isabella and Trevor Von Eeden, made his first appearance in 1977’s Black Lightning #1. The story follows Jefferson Pierce, a former Olympian, who was secretly born with the ability to create and manipulate electromagnetic fields. Although he had abandoned his hometown in Metropolis’ Suicide Slum after the murder of his father, Pierce returns there with his wife and daughters, taking a job as a high school principal. It is after losing one of his students to the gang violence that threatens the city that Pierce decides to take advantage of his powers. Adopting the identity Black Lightning, he becomes a costumed superhero who goes on to serve as team member of both the Outsiders and the Justice League.

The Black Lightning costume was designed by Laura Jean Shannon, whose credits include films like The Jungle Book, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Iron Man, for which she was nominated for a Costume Designers Guild Award.

No!

They did my man Jeff Pierce mad dirty. He look like a deluded homeless man. Couldn't even give the poor guy a shape up at least. I'm sure if it was Booster Gold or another white hero they's make him look more polished though. Berlanti sucks.
