as long as he's not some immortal who found a meteorite that gave him immortality i'm cool with it though. I hope his origin ties in with his failed comedian origin from the killing joke.

The dream sequences and the fucking random appearances were dry! The movie was a fucking Batman wank-a-thin. Makes all the other heroes seem like morons, that's ridiculous. Batman being tough as fuck and brilliant is not negated by losing to Superman or being outshines by Diana. It just gives him a more authentic place on the team the whole humans are better shit is corny as fuck

I remember reading from batmans files that joker is a deadly street combatant he's just not on the level of people like bats deathstroke etc. joker fights batman mentally he likes to play demented cat and mouse games with batman. if he does fight he's not going to toe with batman because he wouldn't stand a chance. he might get a cheap shot in and run but that's about it. yeah he could go toe to toe with a civilian or a low level street thug or mob boss but against super soldier type heroes forget it.

Joker is psychological and knows how to pull strings, I would've loved to have seen Ledger's Joker with Hardy's Bane.

What his background is, who he is etc isn't important. We have gone years without knowing and now all of a sudden we will get it? Stick with the Batman/God storyline where only he knows but leaves the fans clueless. It's gonna kill it for the fans because we know it's gonna be something silly and stupid.

I may be in the minority but Joker is one of the most overrated villains in all of comics. I get it he's unpredictable but a bullet in the dome party over

That's where plot and characterization of the hero comes in.

A hero that kills offs the Joker years ago and he's in a dirt pile like a foot soldier. DC has alot of main villains like that, Lex Luthor is another one. Supes could decapitate that dude and barely touch him.

I can see from the posts in this thread that none of y'all have actually ever read The Killing Joke. The brilliance of The Killing Joke is that Alan Moore doesn't give Mr. J a definitive origin story. It's a probable story and as the Joker says in The Killing Joke, his origin is the one that he likes the best. That's why is each interruption of his origin works because it's the version he felt like telling on that day. You also don't have to worry about him being given a name because in the original graphic novel his nagging bitchy wife never calls by his government name. This assuming that they true to the story.

Now what I am wondering is will they go with the Grant Morrison theory that The Batman finally kills his crazy, sadistic psychotic ass at the end of the flick or do they confirm whether or not Mr. J and/or his goons rapes Barbara.

well there have been different origin stories for the joker throughout the years. I havent read Darkseid war yet but from what I understood this is yet again another revelation lol
