They're used to superhero movies being funny, witty, vibrant, feel good. They're not used to what DC puts out, but that's weird because most of the Batman movies have been like that.

I don't give a fuck, fuck them. We the fans understand and appreciate this stuff.

IGN review:

6.8/10 is harsh af imo.

But if I understand what the reviewer is trying to say that its too dark, serious and there is alotta talking in the 1st 1/2 of the movie. and It pretty much comes across as a super hero/drama, that isn't any fun. Basically its not funny. So kids wont like it.

imo all the stuff the reviewer found @ fault with the movie, is shit I don't mind. I like dark super hero movies. n you need talking to set up the story. I have no problem with it feelin like a drama, cuz if done right. Dramas can be very good.

They do shit on doomsday tho. CGI piece of shit lol.

but imo 6.8/10 is unfairly harsh. But I'll judge for my myself on Friday.

But its fuckin crazy that the reviews are all over the place. Its kinda jarring. Reviewers should be adult enuff to know jus cuz a super hero is dark n serious doesn't means its not any good. smh.

The fact that this movie is adult orientated being the biggest complaint, cause there isnt too many on the acting and storyline, doesn't make sense. Not everyone wants a kid movie. The batman and superman comics been gritty as fuck, that's what makes them popular. I think it's a compliment that the biggest complaint is the seriousness. Let em go see a marvel movie for that campy shit.

I cant front, I clicked the ign review page n expected to see a 9 or at the very least a 8.5. Damn, im in all kinda feelings right now. There is too much build up/hype n there is too much riding on this movie for it to be a fail and to fall flat. smh. I cant take it. im going to bed.

gotdamn this depressing y'all in this bitch panicking like a mfer.

This must how kids feel when their parents tell them Santa isn't real.

See it for yourself. If you like it you like it, if you don't you don't. Nobody's review is better than your own. Besides these are all opinion based there isn't a right or wrong answer. How can someone else tell you what you are going to like?

You can look at it and tell it would be dark so idk where that complaint comes from.

If it is gritty I'm happy. DC animations got me spoiled. I need to see bodies being caught with zero fucks given.

I don't wanna see rainbows and butterflies all the time on some Disney shit.

Pacing was a mess, moreso than MoS in some aspects. Some scenes just hopped from one thing to another with no context or just felt random. Performances were all spot-on, tho. It's actually Eisenberg and Gadot that impressed me the most. I think I just had low expectations for them, but whatever.

Snyder definitely has a lotta visual flare. It overpowers the story in a big way, and I think that's what's gonna make or break people going into this. It's flashy and loud when it calls for it, then getting back into the story/characters all of a sudden... quite jarring.

Basically it sounds like an editing issue. Nothing the director's cut can't fix

they gave deadpool a 7.4. not much better really. DONT FUCKIN LISTEN TO IGN

I should know, I used to write for them lol

They are complaining that it's too dark and gritty well it's based on Frank Millars dark Knight what do they expect. We got two types of reviews from general movie goers who say it was great and the critics that are hating I grew up watching siskel and Ebert and they always loved every thing that kids like me found boring and hated every thing we liked . this is nothing new I'll be the judge when I see it.

" Not much fun". Says ign. To be fair I havrpent been overwhelmed by many supero movies since Spiderman back in 2002 and x men back in 2000 I was younger and they were the first of their kind and it was a thrill to see super hero movies almost done right. Yeah I'll admit avengers was fun but Batman is involved here and Batman doesn't equal fun unless we are talking about the Tim Burton movies. Ign complains that bvs is to cerecral but the dark kn ight was pretty cerebral but it was still good. The source material from this movie being Frank Miller's dark Knight series is pretty dark which sets the tone for this movie. They want this to be fun like avengers but we are talking apples and oranges here. One valid complaint I do agree on is Jesse eisenburg as lex luthor. I always had a bad feeling about him being that he doesn't even look the part and when I saw the trailers well you know what I'm getting at.

Many critic's hated watchmen and I thought it was one of the best comic book movies ever.

Comicbook Fail on my end I saw Watchmen before reading the book. I thought the film was good. Once I read the book I appreciated the movie more, Literally whole pages from the book in the movie. I felt it was the best pure adaptation of comicbook source material to film I've seen.
