watched it..

it was okay..

maybe im odd man out.. dunno dont really follow the thread but I like DC for its dark storyline..

this one had a Marvel feel to me.. I fuck wit the Marvel movies too.. but I go for that.. to laugh see some ass getting kicked..

but DC always came wit a storyline.. was always a more realisticfeel.. this movie didnt do it for me..

im a BatMan fanatic.. but something about Supe cuhz! that nigga is THE NIGGA!! aint nnnnnooooooobody fuckin wit Supes..

the scene wit him against the League was the best fight scene. I feel all the rest could've been better..

overall I give it a 7.

shit seemed rush and they tryin to catch up to Marvel mission a few steps..

they need to stick with the formula that got them here..

I guess you feel this way because of the Nolan trilogy . in this new dcu they are sticking closer to the source material and cgoing with the more fantastical feel of the comics.. I have a minor complaoimtthat they over did it with the CGI. I wish they had more practical set pieces. You can tell a lot of the sets were green screen in places that could have easily been done on a practical set like that scene whenmnatman took them to that underground abandoned wwII armory. Another reason why this isn't working is because they went the doomsday route so quick in the movies. They should've never killed Superman so early. That could've been done in a later sequel. The way they bought him back was I dunno.....
I felt it was foolish on Batman's part knowing he could've created another doomsday if this failed but I guess it was done out of desperation and he didn't want his nightmare to come true. I felt like the fight between supes an the team could've been done better if they all decided to rush him at the same time after trying to take him down individually . they brawl for a couple of minutes and that's were loiscomes in. Aquaman was a bit under used IMO. As far as his abilities go. I was expecting him to. Call sea life in for help like have some sharks or killer whales or a giant squid take out some para demons
all in all the movie was alright but not what it could've been. he sense of urgency or the fate of the earth wasn't there. The stakes didn't feel high enough. I'm not a marvel or a DC guy and I want both of these films to succeed. I give this movie 3and 1/2 fuck fox studios out of 5.

it aint jus the DK series.. u can even reference the cartoon movies DC comes out wit..

shit jus takes on a more serious tone.. like I said.. I may be the only one who likes that but we already got a Marvel..

we dont need DC tryin to copy..

Marvel's last two joints aint even been that hot to me..

the Spidey and Thor was jus aiight.. to me its starting to seem gimmicky.. they dont go deep enough..

im hopin Black Panther takes on a more serious tone..

but yeh..

im not here to bash.. movie was cool..

I jus see it takin a turn.. and even still my ass go be there front line and center for the next movie so let me shut up. lmmfao

It was good, not really good but good. Nothing made me jump out of my seat but I wasn't bored with it at any part. I would've preferred if it was just long as shit cuz it felt rushed.

They got a hit with Wonder Woman again. Her sexy ass can do no wrong!

Affleck needs to stay Batman for as long as he can. I like that he's just a human with flaws and he knows his limits within the team.

Felt like Aquaman was underutilized, maybe that's because he doesn't know what he can do. Same with Flash, he was just some fast nigga for the most part.

Seeing him trip for comedic relief got old after the first time. Is Barry really that clumsy?

Cyborg was cool. Not sure why people had a problem with him.

Supes was so op to the point it wasn't even fair but I liked it. I'm nitpicking but for some reason Cavil looked like his face was CGI like they put in a digital clef or something idk.

Steppenwolf was alright but never seemed like a threat. I would say my biggest gripe with a lot of these movies when global destruction is a possibility there needs to be consequences.

I understand they want to contain it but as far as story goes we should feel like death and destruction is possible. This nigga is the head of an army we should feel that shit.

Overall I liked it. The characters made the movie, Feels like this is going to be one of those BVS things where the director's cut will be 100x better. I'd give it a 7/10.

Just got out again, I still love it. I think they should go ahead with that cyborg movie. It's allot of potential there. Every character shined. Action scenes were so dope. I don't have a problem with steppenwolf either. And just like last night the audience clapped at the end of the movie

I loved watching them grow as a team as the movie went on. Watching them even save each other and the teamwork in the fight scenes were great. The chemistry is great. They'll have to break off for the solo movies which I'm happy as hell for but I'm also looking for the growth of the team in justice league 2

I dont know what these critics watched but this movie was epic and awesome as fuck.

I loved the tone and the colour pallet. That Amazon battle at the beginning was dope as hell.

awesome performances from all the league. Loved the chemistry and the jokes , most landed and it seemed hella fun.

solid 8/10 and a great genuine crowd pleaser. Cant wait for Aquamayne and the rest of the DCEU movies. Will definitely see it again.

fuck the DC critics realtalk.

lol at Steppenwolf being basically Mike Pence with all that “mother” shit and being evil as fuck.

I think we've reached a point in film where we have to relinquish the idea of self-contained movies where stories begin when you press play and end when the credits role. The modernization of this industry has evolved to incorporate an episodic approach thats not going anywhere. Now the fans and critics just need to get on board with it as a whole and stop expecting films to do what was the norm 40+ years ago. Sequels are the norm now. Multi-film franchises are the norm now. Cross-overs are the norm now. I'm starting there because the complaints about the villain being weak or the story being non-existent stem from an outdated expectation everything be explained within the movie you're watching.

Second point is understanding studio decisions and the burden of knowledge that the filmgoer has. Yes, YOU know that Ben Affleck may not be Batman for too much longer. YOU know there were two distinctly different directors working on the same film at different times. YOU know there's competing studio cranking out movies of a similar origin. YOU know Henry Cavil had a mustache for reshoots. The problem is taking all of that knowledge with you into the theater and not allowing yourself to objectively view the film on what it intended to accomplish as opposed to what you THINK it should have or could have done. That's not your call. You can love it or hate it objectively, but at least do so acknowledging what the director and studio wanted to do instead of what YOU wanted them to do.

I appreciated the care given to sincerely delve into the personalities of the characters and the world they exist in. WB decided to go into these films, not to give us a panel by panel redress of what we've been reading for the past few decades, but a adaptation of those stories. They're basically using their own characters like public domain properties, and I like that approach because something I know and expect, while other things I don't know and catch me by surprise. The acting is mostly on point, with the exception of Jason Mamoa giving a monologue leaning against the batmobile. The action gave me what i wanted and the nods to future movies and past lore had me losing my mind in the best way possible.

I got the sense that each of these individuals are gods in their own right, coming together for the sake of unity and protection of those who cannot provide it for themselves. Thats my big takeaway. So, if you go in with your own checklist of what this movie should do, you're going to have a bad time. But go in with a clear mind and I promise you'll enjoy yourself. I'll be getting the physical copy when it comes out for sure.

8/10

i seriously wanna punch all those rotten tomatoes niggaz in their faces , niggaz really gonna lie like this , smh...

It's worth noticing that it's a systematic problem with Rotten Tomatoes, but not the company itself. So the (mostly white) critics get to say "nuh uh! there's no bias, it's all in your head, just make better movies, nobody to blame but yourself!"

That's how they do though. They discriminate systematically and when you call them out, they deny deny deny.

No the movie isn't perfect but it's no where as bad as people who claim to enjoy these kinds of films say it is.

this is foul tho , coz it really stops folks from being enthusiastic about going to see a movie , i know its personal test but when you get some average marvel joints getting 60% but then this gets 40%, there is something really wrong there.

This is not true at all. The majority of movies released every year stand alone and all contain a proper middle, beginning and end. Superhero movies may fall under a more serialized storytelling format but that doesn't mean all movies out today though.

Even when it comes to that it's still not true. Wonder Woman was pretty stand alone with no open ends or loose threads by the closing credits. Same with Logan.

No.

I'm saying those types of films are normal now, considering the sheer amount of sequels, prequels, and cross overs that have been made in the past 30+ years.

I didn't say stand alone films are extinct, just that they are not the only types of films being made anymore.

Weren't they just go to use Cyborg in The Flash movie instead. I figured they turned The Flash into Flashpoint since Cyborg is basically the third main character in that story.
