Larger Threat Than Doomsday Teased For Batman V. Superman
For those of you that criticized the latest Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer for showing too much, production designer Patrick Tatopoulos assures that the film has a lot of tricks still up its sleeve.
Many of the complaints fell upon the reveal of Doomsday -- who made his debut in 1992's "The Death of Superman" story arc -- as it is clearly shown that Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) gains custody of Zod's (Michael Shannon) body and somehow transforms his corpse into the menacing creature that unites Batman (Ben Affleck), Superman (Henry Cavill) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot). But apparently, there is much more to Doomsday's story than what we saw, so far.
"We are able to tell a story in a fresh way," Tatopoulos told Premiere, the French entertainment magazine. "Doomsday is an evolution essentially. Fans may be aware of 'The Death of Superman' story, but this is handled in such a new way."
"When the film is called Batman v or versus Superman, it really has a lot of levels to the meaning. Superman isn't just killed off at the end of something," he explained. "We see how he evolves as part of Lex's plan to protect the world. Seeing the Superman we know, be gone, and then replaced with this reproduction is really going to make fans think of how we look at these super beings. It was especially interesting to figure out, how would you create Superman from Zod... then how would that evolve into Doomsday."
"Doomsday isn't just the final act," Tatopoulos promised. He goes on to say that there's actually a "larger threat" in the film and fans will be very surprised by the "timeframe of how things fall into place." Could that mean Darkseid will appear in Batman v Superman? We'll find in three long months!

Got his own world/kingdom, a harem of fighting hoes that'll fuck shit up(shoutout to granny his bottom bitch), flying henchmen-which the wizard of oz had nothing to do with, boomtubes making him able to popup wherever tf he pleases, he's strong af, strong enough to take a real punch from clark, eye beam powers, intelligence etc...
Braniac is a more accomplished ultron outfitted with logic instead of daddy issues.

If you really think that WB is just going to drop the ball on the start of their next cash cow that will hold them down for the next decade and a half the delusions are on your end. They know that they're the only people in town that could give marvel/Disney legitimate competition at their own game.
That trailer was clearly rushed because Civil War was taking this movie's thunder so early in the game. They felt their hand was forced and had to put something out there before the Super Bowl. It's not the first big budget movie to have a poorly edited trailer that is not indicative of the actual movie itself and it won't be the last.
