Americans are too lazy and to caught up in online banking/commerce (including me) to make a full on bank run and take all their cash out of the banks/matrix.

I will be watching what INDEPENDENT economists say though. Who knows.....I might take a couple of months living expenses out just for the hell of it and ease it back in over the next 2 month if nothing major happens stateside. Seems over the top but there's nothing to lose in doing it.

Beyond that, I can't call it. I don't know enough about it. But as Dick Gregory would say "the rhythm is changing" in the world. I don't know the full ramifications of Britain leaving but it is good that people see that change is possible because there have not been many global shake ups in the world in the past 30-40 years (beyond American imperialism getting stronger and stronger).

Situation is fucked. Funny thing is Euro-sceptic countries like Denmark, Italy, Austria, etc will be calling for referendums too. A domino effect could well be in place, but until then the UK can enjoy a plummeting currency and a devaluing of property and a resigning Prime Minister. Brave new world, eh.

Cameron had no choice - his reelection was under the condition of an EU referendum to stop his party rebelling against him. His back was against the wall to begin with.

Scotland just voted to remain in the UK. One reason they did that was to remain in the EU. I wonder if this will set up another referendum to exit the UK and join the EU themselves.

I predict a somewhat "slow boil" domino effect here in the states.

Great Britain has always been half in half out of the European Union (they never adopted the monetary system of Euros). One certainty that will have a massive effect on our stock market (and our 401K's) are the dismantling of decades old trade deals the UK has with the European Union.

Ultimately, this is a win for Trump, and his anti-union, anti-immigration, posture. He's tapping into a worldwide phenomenon of angry white working class anger.
