I'm not really sure what the people bashing McGregor's performance expected. Yes Floyd rope-a-doped him, but Conor did the only thing he could. Y'all niggas really think he had a shot at defeating a strategy that far more seasoned boxers couldn't? His best shot was to go all out, try to land some good shots, and hope his power was enough. He actually landed the shots. He just didn't have the power. At the end of the day, a fighter with no pro experience going 5 rounds with a GOAT contender is impressive even if the result was completely forseeable.

Connor did good for himself. Score was actually pretty close when he was TKO'd. It was a win-win for both fighters, which is why they agreed to it. Mayweather gets his 50th win, and faced a far subpar opponent. Connor had no business even going 10 rounds and got more money in one night than he would ever win in an entire MMA career.

Don't get it phucked up, May let it go to 10. He didn't respect his skills or power and let Connor think (and some unknowledgeable boxing fans think) he actually was doing something. He gave boxing and UFC fans (casuals and intellectual) a show and their moneys worth by extending the match. He was up by @ least 3 rounds anyway all while toying w/ him.

This shit chess not checkers.

Thank You!!! Mayweather put on a show and let that shit go long, McGregor didn't win any round after the 3rd round and he was dead on his feet for the majority of the fight.

Take that moral victory bullshit over to Sherdog or reddit, because Connor gets no props for getting punched in the face a lot. If anything Floyd showed that McGregor's strength is very overrated since he was supposed to have 1 punch power.

on the real though i still aint convinced of floyds boxing skills. hell go fight connor for a big pay day but he wont fight thurman though. that nigga hand picked all his fights. always fought niggaZ on the slide though. the only nigga who really gave him a run for his money was shane but we see how that turned out. its cool he's 50-0 but he need to put an asterix next to it cause he dont want to fight real fighters. swear to god mickey must be his trainer.

Take that flag you uneducated piece of shit. The only reason you need pussy is because you been suckin' dick your whole life. You no gag reflex havin' ass cock sheather, FOH.

Floyd didn't respect him or take it serious. Why you think in the early rounds he wasn't throwing at all.. barely moving his head.. basically letting him punch him. 2004 Floyd woulda knocked him out early. Floyd coulda dominated and won every round and people woulda complained

I don't really agree with this. People are acting like Floyd could have ended the fight at any time, but that doesn't make sense. He basically relied on Conor tiring himself out to win, so what proof is there that he could have knocked Conor out at any time. People are kinda ignoring that Floyd fought a pretty aggressive fight by his standards. He wasn't just sitting back and letting Conor punch himself out. He took it to Conor throughout the fight. He was getting the better of Conor in those exchanges but Conor wasn't in any danger.

Now these bitchass McGregor fans trying to claim a win because he landed more punches that paq I can't with these stupid motherfuckas Floyd let him land those punches and if where counting all those bitch ass rabbit punches to the head nigga was trying to hammer fist in a boxing match

They really can't hold that fucking L

I think mayweather is promoting UFC fighters.

a good way to do it is to give Connor room to breathe

...appear like be had a chance...

an your fighters can negotiate higher pay which puts money in his pocket...while shitting on Dana in the process

I really don't see how this does anything for UFC/MMA at all.

Once everything's tallied up, Conor could end up with $100 million................FROM BOXING.

Not MMA.

This should shut down any debate people have been having about MMA being on the same level as boxing from a financial standpoint.

The money's in boxing, not MMA.

If anything, I could see more MMA fighters giving up MMA altogether and getting into boxing.

Either that or they're going to try to duplicate what Floyd and Conor did.

Only problem is, there's no other boxer out there who would be that big of a draw outside of Mike Tyson.

Yeah, I said Tyson.

Simply because dude could come out of retirement today and be the biggest draw in the sport.

This was Mayweather's worst fight. It was either fixed or dude didn't prepare for real or old age caught up instant. Conor came out looking better than he ought to, making it somewhat interesting. A serious boxer like Crawford takes him in 2 rounds. They both got paid tho.

niggas like u are so wack. everytime he wins its always some dumb shit. he won. point blank

You dumb fuck can't comprehend honest criticism. I'm a Mayweather supporter but I just call it as I see it. The one thing consistent about Mayweather is that he always prepares and takes every fighter serious. This fight he didn't cuz I guess he didn't have to. He knew he needed the fight to look somewhat entertaining and go to later rounds to make the most money so he dumbed down the fight.
